Lyon seethed in his seat as he read the Sorcerer Weekly magazine article: “Top 10 Wizards You Want To Be Your Boyfriend!”

Gray had beat him again. This was unacceptable.

To no one’s surprise Hibiki kept his crown as the 1st place winner. With Siegrain (now known as the dark wizard Jellal) out of the way, Lyon had hoped to bag 2nd place. Unfortunately, things hadn't worked out the way he’d hoped it would.

In the picture, Gray was leaned back against a wall, his dark eyes glaring into the camera, his hands shoved into the pockets of his low hanging jeans, and you could practically hear the ‘tch’ on his lips. He was also shirtless, but he was always shirtless. So why was everyone going gaga over this picture?

Lyon’s fingers dug into the waxy magazine paper, his jaw clenched and his groomed eyebrows mashed together. How could this cheesecake photo shoot trump his? His fingers itched to rip the page out, to shred it into a million pieces and toss the remains in the furnace and watch it to turn ash.

“If you ogle at that picture any longer you’re going to burn a hole through it.” A voice crooned, low and husky, yet smooth as velvet.

Lyon snapped the magazine closed so fast he almost took off his nose. His head whipped around, the sharp panes of his face angled in a dark scowl. “I wasn’t ogling!”

“Sure you weren’t.” The man smiled lazily, pushing his green tinted glasses further up on his nose, the light of the tavern reflecting off the glass and making it seem like his eyes glowed. It was a haunting look, and it severely contrasted with the furry parka he was wearing.

“This man.” Lyon jabbed a manicured finger at Gray’s photo, sharp nail denting the Fairy Tail mage’s paper face. “Is my nemesis.”

The man snorted, then sat down across from Lyon, propping his cheek up on his hand. “Really?”

His tone was amused, almost teasing, but behind the green tint was a sparkle of intrigue. That sparkle made Lyon decide to engage in further conversation.

“Yes. We’ve been rivals since we were young.”

The man whistled. “That’s a long time.”

“We had the same teacher, were taught the same magic…” Lyon lifted his hand, whorls of ice curling in his palm. “...and that bond connects us.” Then a sudden rage shot through him, his mouth flooded with the tang of bitterness. Lyon slammed his hand down on the table, ice cracking across the wood. “So why does he keep beating me?!!”

“Wait you’re…” the man’s gaze narrowed on Lyon, then widened with realization. “You’re the one that came in 3rd on the wizard boyfriend poll!”

Lyon barked a laugh. “Ding, ding!”

“Since I recognized you… do you now recognize me?”

Lyon stalled. “W-what?”

The man grabbed the magazine and tossed it to Lyon, who caught it with fumbling hands. “Give that another look through, then get back to me.”

Well, that wasn’t suspicious at all. Lyon warily opened the magazine and flipped through it, one eye on the pages and one on the man lounging in the seat across from him. He had kicked his feet up to rest on the table, uncaring of the ice as he leaned back in his seat, the spitting image of a delinquent.

Then Lyon saw it, and his tongue became thick and swollen in his mouth. On the page was the fourth place winner. He lay draped across a settee, dress shirt unbuttoned and hand pulling at his cherry red tie. Pearly white teeth bit into his lips, as if the task of loosening a tie was very difficult. For some reason the button on his slacks was popped open, giving viewers a teasing glance of a V shape. Across the top of the page was his name, next to the #4. Loke. No last name to be seen.

This Loke… he was the same man sitting across from Lyon. The ice mage gulped, and his eyes flicked up, his heart lodged in his throat.

“You… you are…” His tongue seemed to have given out on him, becoming a useless chunk of flesh in his mouth.

“Finally found the page you should be ogling?” Loke drawled. A troublemaker smirk played across his face, as mischievous as the old god his name shared a likeness with.

Well there goes Lyon’s plans of tossing the article in the furnace.

My idea:

Guys I just had this idea, so imagine a picture on Twitter, a selfie of Kirishima in bed with bakugou sleeping next to him and an alarm clock that reads 9 pm in the bg, the post is captioned “he’s already asleep”

then Uraraka comes on and comments “face it kiri you’re dating an old man” and Sero says “rip”

Kiri laughs and replies with a “yeah I guess you could say I’m into older men lol”

But then Kaminari ofc comes onto the post and says “foxy grandpa” and kiri goes “NO” but it’s too late.

#groundzeroisafoxygrandpa is now trending on twitter and when Bakugou wakes up Kiri is trying to find ways to keep him off his phone and comp hoping the trend will die within 24 hrs

and eventually bakugou is like “eijiro give me my phone” and kiri’s all “why can’t you just live in the moment, millennials these days never interacting in the real world, constantly staring at a screen-“ and bakugou just narrows his eyes “what… did you… do?”

And kiri is sweating and avoiding eye contact and then bakugou rips the phone out kiri’s hand and he sees all his notifications and he slowly lifts his head to look at kiri who’s currently planning to immigrate to America and idk what happens next but it won’t be good

I’ll probs eventually make a fic abt this but it’ll be a while lol. Hope you enjoy this shitpost in the meantime. Also pls check out p2 and 3
