Fellow Hetalia fans:

What are your thoughts on World Meetings? Are the nations required to attend? Do some attend and others not? Maybe they only attend sometimes, depending on if they want to/their schedule?

Meanwhile if a nation doesn’t attend, would they just have a human come in their stead?

I’ve also seen some people headcanon the World Meetings as happening in conjunction with the big UN meeting. Which I find pretty realistic. I also see lots of fics with the meetings taking place as often as every month!

All in all, what are y’all’s headcanons about the World Meetings?

hetalia I know for me personally I headcanon them as not being required but heavily encouraged though it isn’t unusual for a nation to not show up and for a human to be in their place especially depending on different regimes or even just something as simple as having an extremely heavy work schedule here’s some food for thought: as most nations seem to live alone would the world meeting technically be one of the only times they can all get together without having to as permission from their bosses *ask not as therefore (going back to the regime thing) couldn’t NOT attending also be a punishment for some meanwhile other times a nation might be forced to attend by a regime to showcase: “look at how well we are doing! see how happy and healthy our personification is😀! sorry just the political implications of national-personifications is interesting🤔 I’ll stop now) otherwise I’ll be here for hours
