Pairing: Brahms x Fem!Reader

Summary: You've been living at the Heelshire's for a few months now and Brahms doesn't know why you won't let him touch you.

Warnings: Body insecurities, body image issues.

A/N: This is written from this request. Anyway, I wasn't sure exactly how to write this so I hope this is okay!

You could feel him watching you as you sat at the kitchen table, cradling a cup of coffee in your hands. You'd been sitting here so long though that the coffee was probably cold now.

Brahms usually spent his time outside the walls with you but you had an idea of why he'd retreated back into them these past few weeks. He thought you didn't want him.

You'd simply ignored his behaviour up until now. Now, you'd decided you were going to finally talk to him.

"You can come out Brahms!" You called out, your voice echoing in the empty kitchen.

Minutes later, Brahms finally trailed into the kitchen, standing at the head of the table to look at you. He looked like a scared little kid. You hated what you were doing to him.

"I'm sorry Brahms." You started, training your gaze on your coffee cup now as you spoke. "I didn't mean to upset you."

He just remained silent as he watched you from where he stood. Brahms thought you and him were close, he thought you wanted to stay with him. But then you became distant all of a sudden. You wouldn't even let him touch you.

"Are you okay Brahms?" You asked him, wishing he'd speak to you.

He shook his head then. "Are you going to leave, (y/n)?"

"What? No. No, I'm not going to leave. It's just...I don't understand how you can want to be with me."

He didn't say anything to that. He just continued to stare at you like he was confused. So you continued with your attempt at explaining things to him.

"Well it's just...my body, it's not...I don't look like-" You couldn't think of what to say as you sat there stumbling over your words. "I don't have what people would call the perfect body and I don't know...I just worry that you might think that too."

"So are you going to leave?"

"That's all you care about?" You asked him, confused as to why he didn't seem to give your worries a second thought.

"Are you going to leave?" He asked again.

"No, I'm not going to leave. Do you really not care what I look like?"

"Am I supposed to care?"

"Well, no but-"

"So you're definitely staying?"

You couldn't help the small smile that tugged at your lips as you looked up at him. "Yes Brahms, I'm definitely staying."

You stood up then, abandoning your cold coffee, and you met him in the middle of the kitchen, opening your arms for him.

He carefully stepped towards you, securing his arms around your shoulders as he pulled you to him.

And finally, your insecurities didn't seem as powerful anymore because it was clear that Brahms had never even thought about your body that way. He was just happy to have someone to stay with him. And so were you.

Min Yoongi is v mature and has strong boundaries, is perfectly capable of taking care of himself, a cutie, had some issues, 5''9, clean shaved, literally no body hair(??) Appreciates physical touch but not 24/7, understands personal space and has his own, has a friend group

Meanwhile on the other hand,, Brahms heelshire is just a lidl bepy, wants to be taken care of, will throw a tantrum if he doesn't get his way, 6''4, beard and mustache, body hair,

Literally a cuddle bug,, sucker for physical touch, will demand it 24/7 (also does not understand the concept of personal space) literally has never socialized w anybody except his parents/Greta? Or y/n

Some similarities I've noticed is they either have/had issues, almost 30 year olds(🫠) one's socially awkward and the other has never been social, and so onnn

I just watched The Boy (2016) again and can we just talk about how fucking hilarious it is that they tried to use the mask to make people think the actor was less hot/scarier but it backfired spectacularly and ended up making him more attractive
