summary! - yn has a rough childhood with her father dying in an earthquake and a new stepmother with two awful stepdaughters. but on the bright side, yn has an awesome best friend named jungwon and an online relationship with a guy who goes by nomad. one day, yn gets a message from her nomad saying that he wants to meet her in the middle of the dance floor at their high school halloween dance. she accepts the invitation and realizes that her online friend is the most popular guy in school, jay park.

this week had been nothing but fun with riki. you honestly questioned how you didn’t like him in the first place.. he was funny, kind, and patient. the more you hung around him, the more you slowly fell for the tall brunette. you were so lost in in your thoughts that you didn’t notice a girl approaching riki, when you snapped back into reality, you saw a sight you strongly disliked. the girl was very obviously flirting with your handsome coworker and being too close for comfort. you tried to not show irritation that was building up and told yourself, “he’s not mine, why am i getting upset over their interactions?” you couldn’t help but question yourself. once again lost in your thoughts, the girls voice pierces your thoughts

“who’s that girl you’re with, is she your girlfriend?” your cheeks grew red from the question, but quickly became pale after hearing riki’s answer, “what, no? she’s my coworker and only my coworker, nothing more.” your heart shattered at the sentence, tears started prickling at your eyes and you just walked off without a single word
