Important reminders for caregivers of all kinds:
✨ You cannot take care of others if you neglect to take care of yourself first.
✨ Your mental, physical and emotional health do not make you any less of a caregiver.
✨ Having intrusive thoughts of any nature does not make you any less of a caregiver.
✨ You do not need to fit a certain aesthetic to be a caregiver.
✨ Caregiving should be a mutually beneficial experience for everyone involved.
✨ Whether you’re a full time caregiver or occasionally babysit, you are still a caregiver.
✨ It’s okay not to use the term caregiver and prefer other titles.
✨ Expressing discomfort with nicknames such as mama, dada, etc is perfectly okay as your comfort is very important.
✨ You do not need to identify a certain way to use certain nicknames.
✨ There’s nothing wrong with disliking certain things about caregiving.
✨ Caregiving can be a coping mechanism as much as regressing/dreaming are.
✨ Your thoughts, feelings, comfort and happiness are always important and should always be respected.
✨ Caregivers can find comfort in or need to use diapers or other common regression/dreaming items as well.
✨ You are always allowed to decline taking care of someone else if you’re low on energy, need time to yourself, aren’t comfortable doing so, or for any reason at all.
✨ Taking a break from caregiving to focus on your own needs is perfectly okay and highly encouraged if needed.
✨ Needing to take time for yourself does not make you a bad caregiver nor does it mean you don’t love those you care for.
✨ Wanting to explore your own regression/dreaming or other coping mechanisms is highly encouraged.
✨ You shouldn’t neglect your own regression/dreaming or other coping mechanisms in favor of caring for others.
✨ You should never be forced to constantly look after someone else when you need to be taken care of yourself.

yall what the tic-tac, we just had an INTENSE phantom shift. And not like ears or some awsome shit like that, NO we had a leg fur shift (we don’t have long hairs on ours legs so it’s not that yall). Like we was just peacefully sittin talkin to my therapist and we feel like something on the back of our foreleg and we’re just like is there a fucking spiderweb on us??? So we brush it off but there isn’t anything there.
So were walking back to the car and we can feel it waving in the wind and we brush off our foreleg again before realizing, that was a fucking shift. Yall that was weird anyway, honestly it made us feel like a little cryptid critter so idk

Yo we’re demonkin (specifically a demon pretending to be a fallen angel) and sometimes we’ll just be walking around and all of a sudden we’ll feel a weight missing from our back and wk our wings should be there but their not and we curse going into this foul human body.
