Do you have any Inuyasha/InuKag fanfic specific pet-peeve tropes? (besides the obvious inclusion of Sessrin as a ship)

That’s such an interesting question!

I don’t think I have a pet peeve with any tropes, at least not anymore. My reading experience made me realize it’s not about the trope per se, it’s about how the trope was written. For instance, I used to absolutely loathe ABO and then one day I accidentally read an Inukag fanfic with this very dynamic and enjoyed it.

Does this mean I like this trope now? Absolutely not. But I’ve opened my mind to the idea that even tropes that aren’t really my cup of tea can be fun and entertaining. It all depends on if the way they’re getting written appeases to me as a reader. And the contrary can also be true: I’ve read fanfics with tropes that I love that just didn’t do it for me and let me tell you, the disappointment is surreal.
