hello lovely femmes! i'm curious to know how many of us identify as stone. i would love if you could share more about your stoneness and how you identify (high femme, stone femme, etc.) in the tags! no pressure to share, of course. i would also appreciate if you could reblog even if you don't identify as femme to boost the sample size! thank you so much! ♡
Idk what to say, masculinity suddenly becomes sexy when you had to pry your right to have it from societies cold, unfeeling fingers with nothing but your strength of will.
I love butches the way I love heavy metal, the girlies will understand
discord safe space
hi yes, it is me again. i am in fact, still alive (allegedly).
I just wanted to put out another invite to like this or DM me if you'd like to be part of our growing butch/femme discord server. we have spaces to talk about everything from transitioning to fandom shit. various roles that can opt you into certain chats (maybe some spicy chatting if you wish). the only requirement is that you are 18+ and are a real person (bots need not apply lol).
i can't stop thinking about nex benedict. they were just a child. they were bullied for a year and no one did anything and now they're dead and they're still being villainized for daring to throw water on their bullies. they were beat unconscious and warned not to press charges bc they would get in trouble. he was just a child. and now theres a whole narative around his life and death that he gets no say in. that his family and friends can only do so much to control. he was just a child, i should never have known his name, but now that i do i cant unknow it
To be a high femme lesbian 🎀
To be a high femme lesbian is to be a protector. Of butches, of history , of selfhood.
To be a high femme lesbian is to be a paradox of all that is heteronormative, of all that femininity is expected to be.
To be a high femme lesbian is to be gentle , to be kind , to be a safe haven for the ostracised stone butch lesbians in my circle and let them know there is a home for them, beating within my ribs.
To be a high femme lesbian is to be authentic , to not perform femininity but to reclaim and redefine it for myself. For the other high femmes I meet , for the butches I cherish.
To be a high femme lesbian is to have your own stone. To not let it be chipped , be melted , be disregarded as heterosexual indecency. To allow your sexuality to flourish in the cradling of a stone butch’s hands. To allow theirs to find refuge in your stone sanctuary.
To be a high femme lesbian is an honour , not to be taken for granted. It is love personified , it is unity and it is freedom.

Shout out to the cashier at Aldi that made me and my wife malfunction

even i am beginning to tire of the constant thoughts of you // i try desperately to figure out why i can't shut them out // i like to think i mattered once // we were kids together // we experienced together // i don't throw about the title of family lightly // you told me i was yours // its always been in your nature to run from family // but no matter how much scorn i throw // i always return to mine // and so i am not shocked that you stay on my mind // i think, tragically, that falling out of love did not do what i hoped it would // for i hate you now, i resent you, ive recognized what you did as abuse // but at the end of the day, i never expect family to just leave // we always come home
so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
a collection of pictures of dan's hidden profile
do you know what these pictures have in common:

they all feature dan's hidden profile
they were all taken by phil
i just realised. phil always takes photos of dan's hidden side because it is the side he knows and loves. it is the side where he always is and the side he's used to seeing dan in.
he takes these pictures from this side because these pictures were for them. you can see a difference between the pictures phil takes to show us (catboy dan, dan in front of the fireplace, actually a lot of 3rd person pictures of dan's instagram...) because they feature dan's preferred side. but these ones. oh these ones were taken for them. their pictures. we are just lucky enough for them to end up showing them to us.
i need to go lie down.
Please don't ask me for relationship advice unless you are prepared to receive some truly upsetting information because some people are ready for the "He's exhibiting the literal textbook signs of a psychological abuser and you need to get away from him before he successfully cuts you off from your support network" talk and some people aren't
sometimes I feel bad and then I remember that there are people in the world who haven't realised that friendship and love are genuinely the reasons for everything
zont zo it!!!
✨️normalize wanting to kiss your metamour✨️
I'm barely even trying to radicalise people why am I being booed???

Please also check out your local public libraries for these books and see if they carry them, to help support public libraries! If you have a library card already you can checkout Libby and Overdrive to see if your public library carries it as an ebook that you can checkout :)
EDIT: another not included on the orignal masterpost-- Trans Liberation: Beyond Pink or blue !

annnnnd in light of the web archive losing it's court case, here's a backup of both PDFs and generated epubs a friend made:

5/26/2023: hello! I am adding on yet another book of queer history, this time the autobiography of Karl Baer, a Jewish, intersex trans man who was born in 1884! Please signal boost this version, and remember to check the notes whenever this crosses your dash for any new updates :)

6/24/2023: Two links to share!
Someone made an Epub version of Memoirs of a Man's Maiden Years, which you can find Here , as a more accessible version than a pdf of a scanned book if you're like me and need larger text size for reading--
And from another post I reblogged earlier today, I discovered the existence of "TransSisters: the Journal of Transsexual Feminism", which has 10 issues from 1993-1995, and includes multiple interviews with Leslie Feinburg and other queer feminists / activists of the 90s!
Here's a link to all 10 issues of TransSisters, plus a 1996 "look back at" by one of the writers after the journal ended, you can find all 10 issues on the Internet Archive Here !

8/28/2023:
"Bi Any Other Name: Bisexual People Speak Out", can be found on the web archive Here, for the 25th Anniversary Edition from 2015,
and also Here, for the original 1991 version.
Each of the above can be borrowed for one hour at a time as long as a copy is available :D
This is a living post that receives sporadic updates on the original, if you are seeing this on your dash, click Here to see the latest version of the post to make sure you're reblogging the most up to date one :)
Pride history posts on here seem almost exclusively to revolve around Stonewall which can leave the impression that America is the only place where anything important ever happened and obviously is not true so I have compiled a few links where you can learn about LGBTQ history in other countries!
