SO, my personal fanon is that he takes it off, folds it and stuffs it into his shirt above the stomach area bc along with his different body posture it would help make him look less like superman.

Also, I can imagine Clark not knowing how to hide his cape, so he just kinda thinks of wrapping it around somewhere on his body, and he ends up around the torso before he has a light bulb moment. Next scene is him in full Clark get-up stuffing his folded cape into his shirt then slouching down, having a good look at himself and then getting a realy goofy smile because he absolutely hit gold when it comes to disguises.

Lowkey setting up the general plot tumblr tags style is so genuinely helpful??? You can say what's happening and then the mood either directly or by memes and just go with general stuff without the worry for detail, and then you can rewrite it with actual intent of it being more put together. Like:
