In Hannibal's Tableau Of The Judge, The Heart Is Ever So Slightly Outweighing The Brain On The Scale.

in hannibal's tableau of the judge, the heart is ever so slightly outweighing the brain on the scale. it is also illuminated in light, while the brain is in the shadow. could this be an allusion to (or at least foreshadowing of) hannibal's love/heart beginning to outweigh, outshine, and eclipse his usual sense/mind when it comes to will?

I would have liked to show you Florence.

I would have liked to show you where I found myself. Where I became a man. A man I could tolerate. One who would thrive.

I would have liked to show you where I harnessed my skill. Where I perfected my craft. Softening the edges of macabre to be beautiful, palatable, exquisite.

I would have liked to show you the rest of me, the next arc in the story you crave. To see the beginning and the end is incomplete. I want you to see all of me.

I would have liked to show you where I blurred with myself. Where I smudged the harsh lines of my story. The befores and afters coming together. Where I stitched a new suit, a new smile.

I would have liked to show you where I forgave myself. Where I was able to move on. But that didn't happen. It couldn't. Not until a familiar voice called to me in the catacombs. An unforgettable softness among the dead.

I would have liked to show you Florence. Maybe you could have shown me something, too.
