𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie (as children and as friends).

*Modern!AU (2015).

𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬: On a sunny afternoon, Lisa goes out to play and encountered her new neighbour.

Lisa opened the gate, took a step out of her house and closed it, locking it as her mother had taught her. Then, she turned around and observed the street – the ground as warm as a ironed clothes and the light brown colour reflected the sunlight in a lower degree compared to white, so it wouldn't burn the eyes.

She looks from right to left and spot a boy playing with a cupcake baking toy set and a Pinkie Pie plushie. He had a dark skin and his coily hair was perfectly rounded in an afro.

Of course, Lisa's first reaction would be to try to play with him.

She approaches the boy with quick steps. — Psst! — She catches his attention. The brown shiny eyes directed towards the girl. — Look at this. — She stomp on the ground, making her EverAfter High shoes shine. You know, those cool shoes with lights that created a mini show that your momma never bought to you. — My name is Lisa Marie, you are?

— Michael. — He responds with a simple smile.

— Michael was the name of a singer from my grandmother's time, did you know that? But he died because he was very gossipy. — She explained what her grandmother told her beforehand.

— Hm... — Michael understand. — Do you know how to count up to 525?

She shook her head. — No, I only know up to 300. — She sits by his side. — Your favourite of the mane six is Pinkie Pie, right?

— Yup! — He agreed. — She's fun, she has the Pinkie Sense, she knows how to cook and loves playing pranks.

— Uhm, talking 'bout pranks, what about we play one right now? — Lisa offers the idea.

— Sure, which one?

The two children looked over a house that was a bit distant. They looked at each other with growing grins.

A few seconds later, the two were already in front of the yellow house with blue details, about to ring the doorbell.

— Okay, on the count of three, we ring the bell and run. — Lisa said and Michael agreed. — One, two three...

Although the agreement was to ring the doorbell, the subconscious of these two translated it as knocking out the poor doorbell, and, as I said, they slapped the doorbell and ran for their lives.

Because the fun of this prank is not to leave the resident confused, but to run like a dying stampede.

And oh what a clumsy run. For every three steps taken there were two near falls. If Lisa Marie Presley from a few years in the future went back in time and saw this scene, she would make fun of her younger self. And Michael Jackson from the future, well... He'd join in, let's not lie here.

The two children hid behind a bush laughing their asses off, while the old man that lived in the house called them obscene names and made not-so-pretty hand signs.

— You almost gave us away! — Lisa laughed out.

— Me? You was the one screaming like that's your last day on earth!

— But you were louder, you megalophone mouth! — Well, Michael has a new nickname for life now.

They'd still be playing around if Michael's mother didn't call him to get home and eat. Now, Lisa was helping him to collect his cupcake set.

— Shall we meet again, yesterday morning? — She said, wrongly referring to tomorrow.

He nodded. — You can go to my house, if you want.

— I can bring my Crystal Rarity. Her horn shines and does actual magic-

— Michael!! — Katherine called again.

— I have to go. Bye, Lisa! — He waved goodbye and ran to his house.

— Bye, bye, Michael. — She waved back.

And this is how a wonderful friendship get started.
