Son of God, you were raised from the dead to lead us into life, bless & sanctify all the children of your Father. Lord, give us peace & joy.

You give peace & joy to all who believe in you, grant that we may walk as children of the light, rejoicing in your victory. Lord, give us peace & joy.

Build up the faith of your pilgrim Church on earth, that it may bear witness to your resurrection before the whole world. Lord, give us peace & joy.

You suffered and so entered into the glory of the Father, change the tears of the sorrowful into joy. Lord, give us peace & joy.

Because Saint Joseph was the representative of our Heavenly Father on earth, because he acted as Christ's father in His life on earth, he is the divinely appointed head of the Holy Family. The Holy Family; of Saint Joseph, The Blessed Mother and the Son of God is the beginning and the model for the great Family of God, His Church here on earth. In this way, Saint Joseph is a father to all of us.
