I find interesting how Ruggie’s name is similar to ‘Reggie’ meaning ‘ruler’s advisor’. Eh, ‘advisor’ is one way to put it.
But ‘Reggie’ is also a shortened name for ‘Reginald’, which is a masculine version of Regina meaning ‘king’....Brings me back to his quote “Even a hyena can become king” or something similar to that.
However, reggie also makes me think of regicide, which is the killing of a king. Which is exactly what the hyenas did to Scar at the end of the movie...
