i love how the stakes of Walter White’s tragedy are that he’ll die of cancer at an upsettingly young age with very little to show for his ambitions in life despite being a near-genius at chemistry but the premise of Jimmy McGill’s tragedy is that he becomes this guy

The only good use of a flashback ever on tv is when Hank is on the toilet reading gale’s dedication and it flashes back to walt saying “you got me” and I know from the commentary Vince was crying screaming throwing up about them adding it but then looked at the final product and was like “ok that rules actually that is chilling”

Sorry this is more vaguing than I usually do but I just don't think the idea that "Jesse brba is only funny by accident" is a good read. WALT is funny by accident, that's an intentional part of how Bryan Cranston plays him. Walt does funny shit all the time, but you NEVER get the impression that he'd appreciate you laughing at him. Jesse's also definitely played as being "funny by accident" sometimes, but idk he always feels like someone with more of a sense of humor about it all. Walt would be soooo offended that No Skyler I Am The Danger is something people imitate to be funny, but idk I think Jesse would appreciate the comedic power of Ahhhhh wire

i think about skyler white breaking bad and something in my brain just goes OURZZGHHGGG. she's so good because shes just. a normal woman who leads a miserable existence. even from the beginning she's so unhappy (even without her husband being involved in the mob!!! awesome!!!) and then in s5 she drops the "someone needs to protect this family from the man trying to protect this family". shes so fun
