Are you interested in horses, dogs, cats, or animals in general? The SAFC might be a perfect community for you!

We are a small Sims 4 eventing community established in 2019, previously under the name the Sims Kennel Association. We are dedicated to combining some level of realism and roleplay within our gameplay and story-telling pursuits. Our goal is to bring our own unique flavor to the animal showing scene with the use of multiple different standards, for dogs, to really establish that international feel when pursuing titles. We also have included cats and livestock shows as of early 2021, and horses with the launch of Horse Ranch.

These Days some Mods containing Malware have been uploaded on various Sites.

The Sims After Dark Discord Server has posted the following Info regarding the Issue:

Malware Update: What We Know Now To recap, here are the mods we know for sure were affected by the recent malware outbreak: "Cult Mod v2" uploaded to ModTheSims by PimpMySims (impostor account) "Social Events - Unlimited Time" uploaded to CurseForge by MySims4 (single-use account) "Weather and Forecast Cheat Menu" uploaded to The Sims Resource by MSQSIMS (hacked, real account) "Seasons Cheats Menu" uploaded to The Sims Resource by MSQSIMS (hacked, real account)

Due to this malware using an exe file, we believe that anyone using a Mac or Linux device is completely unaffected by this.

If the exe file was downloaded and executed on your Windows device, it has likely stolen a vast amount of your data and saved passwords from your operating system, your internet browser (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Firefox, and more all affected), Discord, Steam, Telegram, and certain crypto wallets. Thank you to anadius for decompiling the exe.

To quickly check if you have been compromised, press Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run window. Enter %AppData%/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/UserData in the prompt and hit OK. This will open up the folder the malware was using. If there is a file in this folder called Updater.exe, you have unfortunately fallen victim to the malware. We are unware at this time if the malware has any function which would delete the file at a later time to cover its tracks.

To quickly remove the malware from your computer, Overwolf has put together a cleaner program to deal with it. This program should work even if you downloaded the malware outside of CurseForge. Download SimsVirusCleaner.exe from their github page linked here and run it. Once it has finished, it will give you an output about whether any files have been removed.

CurseForge took actions and added mechanics to prevent such Files to be uploaded, so downloading there should be safe.

In general be careful, where and what you download, and do not download my Mods at any other Places than my own Sites and my CurseForge Page.

Did you know you can make sims look in a specific direction whilst they're posed?

Hit shift+tab to enter first person mode

Aim the camera where you want your sim to look (make sure your game isn't paused otherwise the sim won't move - you can press 1 in first person mode to set time running)

Hit pause (by pressing P)

Hit shift+tab again to exit first person mode

Voila! Your sim is now looking in the direction you pointed 'em!

dijon: an EA blonde hair override - now complete**!

Lemme just put it out there: Morgyn Ember deserves better hair. It took a while, but I went and made a bunch. tl;dr: you can download the recolors here on SFS and see previews/info here.

This was supposed to be a simple mod to pretty up my Rite of Ascension screenshots, but EA’s default blonde looks like it belongs on a sad, soggy sandwich and I decided not to stop there. I came up with something closer to Dijon mustard than yellow - a better color for a fancier sandwich. Also, better hair.

Please keep in mind - this is an override pack. It replaces the default blonde in the game with my recolor, which means that any blonde sims already in the game will have their hair updated. Please let me know if you have any problems!

Eyebrows aren't included with the base game package. Make sure you grab both.

Everything is divided up by pack, and needs to be downloaded separately. Only download the ones for the packs you own.

To go back to yellow hair, just remove my packages from your mods folder.

If you want to make your own Dijon recolors, you can download a photoshop or affinity template here. Do whatever you'd like as long as you respect cc hair makers' TOUs when it comes to recolors.

**Please note: I do not own every pack. You can check here to see which packs I've finished and which ones I don't own. I will update as I buy more packs, and I can give instructions on how to make your own recolors for anyone interested.
