So in the Sarah extra level, we see in Sarah’s computer messages that Robert’s memories of Laura are extremely important to the Manager and The White Door facility (whatever it actually is). Then, Sarah erases all his memory of Laura while he is asleep, freeing him from being a corrupted soul. But doesn’t that also mean he isnt useful to the White Door facility anymore? Was Sarah going against direct orders from the Manager to free Robert? Was she the only one who genuinely cared about his recovery? Was she the person who had a different motive than the facility that was alluded to in that one computer message?

the fact that Dale was assigned to Case 23 makes me so mad sometimes. it implies that Dale lived near Laura. they could’ve known each other!!!! did he ever pass her on the street? did he and Bob ever see each other at the liquor store? did he go to their favorite diner? how many times did fate lead them away from each other?

what would change if the three of them knew each other, loved each other? would Dale still choose the lake’s power over Laura? would he still so easily let Bob die, then later help manipulate him into the White Door? would the paradox have been easier to handle knowing that he had Bob & Laura by his side? or would it have been infinitely worse when Dale realized he was behind their deaths?
