mike was the first person to show el some kind of love when she didn't know anything about it, couldn't know she needed but so desperately needed.

mike was the first friend will ever made and the first boy he fell in love with. he's everything will has ever wanted or needed.

the potential of mike being el's great platonic love and will's great romantic love. the way these kinds of loves are so different yet just as strong as the other, not one more important than the other.

could you imagine a final battle, el and will losing themselves in the fight but finding the strength in mike's love for them, their beacon in the night, who saved them both once and will do it again and again.
