Both Mei and Red Son being equally infuriated at the idea that Mei is Red Son’s girlfriend.

It’s such a refreshing break from the forced heteronormativity in kids shows. It’s so nice. We love seeing guys who don’t fall head over heels for random ladies, and we love seeing platonic relationships between a girl and a boy!
