Surprisingly this is my first post ever. I don't usually speak my thoughts on this app since I mostly just put hearts on pictures and save some photos. But at this point, I'm really getting sick of this shit.

FOR ALL OF THE BATIM/BATDR FANS OUT THERE!!! I'M GOING TO SPEAK MY MIND ABOUT SOME SERIOUS TOPICS REGARDING A RECENT SITUATION. IT WILL INVOLVE THE MENTION OF DEATH THREATS AND HARASSMENT. IF YOU DON'T WANNA LISTEN TO MY NITPICKS, YOU CAN GO ON ABOUT YOUR DAY AND NEVER LOOK AT THIS POST. OR STAY INTERESTED AND READ ABOUT WHAT I HAVE TO SAY. EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS ANYWAYS.

I'm so sick of certain batim fans thinking that just because Bendy is shipped with somebody, means it's pedophilia. It's not. People are forgetting that Bendy is an adult. And treating him as if he's your "precious baby who needs to be protected at all costs and from ALL THE SHIPS" is just...I dunno. Extremely weird? Now, I'm not saying that you guys can't depict Bendy however you want. Think of him as a child. Think of him as if he's your precious baby son. That's completely fine. I have no problems with that whatsoever. Go wild with it. It's the way certain batim fans treat him. They're gatekeeping him from other innocent batim fans who want nothing more than to enjoy a pairing featuring him. I've had this girl who was my best friend since middle school. She absolutely loved Bendy and would often draw Alice Angel since it was her favorite character. Not too long ago, she messaged me in my dms, saying how batim fans were being absolutely cruel to her all because she made a girl oc and made her kiss Bendy on the cheek as simple fan art. Keep in mind, she posted her artwork on amino. I've heard that people were harassing, some giving DEATH THREATS to her, and making her feel ashamed. And for what? "Bendy is just a baby...! He shouldn't get shipped with anybody!" "Why is she kissing baby bendy!?" "isn't bendy a child? 💀" "You should die for this, lol" "WTF?" Tbh, I think people are forgetting that Bendy x Alice used to be a thing for 6 whole years. There was so many fan art of Alice hitting on Bendy, Bendy calling her "toots", and then having babies together. Nobody has been complaining about it ever since. But when batdr first came out and fans saw Bendy, they just immediately assumed he's a kid all because he's playing with a toy train. And like, it's understandable if people never KNEW Bendy wasn't a kid. I mean. Just look at his adorable face! But the fact that people don't ever do their research and assume the fucking worst is quite upsetting. It's upsetting that Bendy is getting gatekeeped all because of shipping. Please stop. Adults can play with toys. Adults can be short. And they are STILL adults. No matter what. Treat them like one. For their sake. Please. If this is how y'all treat Bendy, who knows how y'all treat IRL adults who have a mind of a child.

I've seen so many artworks of Bendy being drunk while drinking 90 bottles of alcohol. I've seen aus of him being an assassin and having a wife as his partner. I've seen him arts of ocs of Bendy having a child with some random girl/boy character besides Alice. I've seen so many artworks of Bendy getting put in many adult scenarios and nobody batted an EYE because "well, he's an adult." But as soon as he starts crying and plays with a fucking train... you're no longer to pair him up with anybody else. What kind of fucking logic is that. If you get sooooo upset at certain batim fans enjoying a bendy x Alice ship or any other ocs with him to the point where you have to send DEATH THREATS? Shame on you. Absolutely shame on you. This behavior is disgusting. If anything, I've never seen people sink this low. At all. For fucks sake, I think Mickey Mouse is a cutie patootie. I think he's my little sunshine mouse. My own child. But I know for a fact that I just can't gatekeep him from the motherfucking Disney company all because he's innocent looking and has a girlfriend named Minnie. At least I respect Mickey as a full grown adult. At least I know his true identity outside of him just being a "smol bean" or "my baby". You guys need to see Bendy that way. But apparently not since now folks are getting harassed for putting him in romantic scenarios now.

In conclusion:

Just stop, people. Like genuinely. Stop. Stop treating Bendy as if he's a fucking baby and claiming that he is. He's not. He's a grown. Ass. Adult. With a mind of a child. Just because he plays with a train, is 3 feet tall, and has an innocent face, doesn't automatically make him a kid. If anything, it's disrespectful to adults who actually act just like him. And like I said before, feel free to think of Bendy as a baby/child other than anything else. I don't care. But if you're going to bring toxicity to other people for using Bendy in different ways, just move on. Don't even look at it. And lastly, for those who ganged up on my best friend and are currently reading this, you know who you are. You should feel called out. Because this is disturbing. She didn't deserve such treatment. You made her cry. You made her feel like what she was doing was wrong. She didn't do ANYTHING of the sort. You guys are just full on crazy and fucked up in the head.

But anyways, thanks for the people who stuck around and actually took the time to read my post. I know this is long but I just wanted to inform you guys that some batim fans out there like that exists. And it surprises me that people like that exists in this fandom even though it's pretty chill most of the time. But yeah! Spread this around. I don't want my friend to suffer this treatment again. Let's just make this the best 2024 it could be and we'll be done with that. I love each and every one of you batim/batdr fans. And if there is ANYTHING I said that was off in my post, feel free to criticize me. I'm in all ears. Especially if I need to be taught otherwise. Anyways, bye lovelys!~
