"omg we might get to see stormbringer animated for season 4" no. stormbringer NEEDS a movie, not 3-4 episodes in the beginning of a season. that thing is barely comprehensible as a book, much less as separate episodes. dead apple is confusing asf as it is, as a movie, imagine if they tried to fit that into a season? same thing with stormbringer

personally i hope untold origins gets adapted since the prev seasons have followed the light novel adaptation for a few episodes formula untold origins will be extremely fitting considering the the current apocalypse and how the whole agency is targeted it'll also be a full circle moment for season 4 to have both the ada's and yosano's backstory in one season me thinks since yosano was one of the very first members

like!! other than some takes calling jouno manipulative towards tachihara, jouno was also?? criticized for this somewhat?? like what you said, he didn’t intervene even when he knew something was up between the commander and tachihara, which could’ve been bad and dangerous on tachihara’s end (and did end up really bad), some takes talking about how he didn’t intervene because he wants a “gotcha moment” in betraying fukuchi (if memory serves me right)

but also like, jouno couldn’t have known much just by tachihara making a trivial lie to fukuchi’s face considering this

and the fact that jouno was originally willing to become a decay until he remembered that one old lady who thanked him, which cancels out jouno feigning alliance to have a “gotcha moment” on fukuchi
