Mike is really bad at hiding his emotions because no one's ever really validated or considered them

mike has the opposite problem of rocks in his brain. he is trying to play 3d chess to communicate to will through code and mild body language and will is literally just a normal human being. mike is internally dismantling everything will does at all times and will is just thinking like a Person

You think they canonized their main character as gay and revealed he’s always been in love with his childhood best friend, their other main character, just to work in an ‘accepted as gay’ ending for will (and forcing the end of stranger things to have to include mike ‘no-homoing’ him politely??) I think they just wanted their main characters to end up together, so they wrote it. We are not the same
