I love this pairing for a bunch of reasons: they are best friends, they care deeply for each other, they diverge from the aesthetic standards, they are a biracial couple, they reverse gender tropes, he’s shorter than her, she’s the strong one, he’s the sweet one, and I’m definitely a sucker for slow burn. 

This pretty old one was inspired by @tothineownelfbetrue Disenchantment fanfiction “Being Orpheus”, which I particularly loved. Made before I learnt how to use layers, lol
