I remember the time I decided to try belly dance. I hesitated a lot before starting to take classes, and then I came across this video.

This woman is so gorgeous, so fabulous. I wanted to be like that too.

Are you a belly dancer? I want to be a belly dancer but I'm afraid I'm too big. Dancers are super sexy and I'm plus size :(

Belly danceing is a manifestation of womanhood, fertility sexuality and spirituality. It’s the celebration of the woman experience.

The only thing you’d need is an open heart & mind to learn and enjoy such experience. You don’t have to skinny in order to try belly dancing…you don’t even need to be skinny to be beautiful! I bet you are gorgeous girl and trust me when I say this: Dancing will increase your confidence and that feeling is worth a thousand hours of training.

There are so many amazingly beautiful curvy/thick belly dancers out there that I feel the need to share some of their inspiration with you (Majda Anwar and Grace Craft  ♥ are my favorite belly dance dolls).
