johnny’s always been a great listener, and he’s always been there for you. you sob into his chest as he rubs circles into your back, murmuring “it’s okay, it’s okay” into your hair. 

“oh dear, who hurt you?” his eyes are filled with concern as he cups your face gently, his large warm fingers wiping away the fat teardrops that fall from your eyes as if they have a mind of their own. you don’t tell him, but johnny can tell from the look in your eyes. “it’s okay, you’re with me now. no one’s going to hurt you,” he murmurs, and you know it’s true. 

you hiccup and hug him tighter. johnny lets you soak his sweater with overflowing tears. you heave breaths as you try to suppress your tears, suddenly feeling bad that you’re putting this burden on johnny. “j-johnny, i-i’m sorry.” you hiccup again as tears flood your eyes.

“why are you apologizing? hey,” johnny says, trying to get your attention. he gently places his hands on both of your shoulders. “hey. look at me.” you break into a sob as soon as you meet his eyes. “come here,” he says, pulling you back into a hug. you feel so safe, so loved, so complete in his arms. you want to stay forever.

“i love you,” he says softly, warm hand wiping your tears. “i love you.” it’s so genuine, so real. you can’t stop crying, but you know you don’t have to stop in front of johnny. “you’re safe with me. i love you.”

this is really recent news bc it came out less than an hour ago 😳 and probably hasn’t been translated yet but i just wanted to share it with you all 🥺🥺

that does it. a tear falls from your eyes without your consent - then another and another and another. you’re crying uncontrollably at once, and jaehyun silently pulls you in for a hug.
