While I’m at it I thought I would make a stained glass drawing tutorial.

Start with your lines. You can make them straight or curvy. Make sure to use the stabilizer if you have shaky hands like me.

Step two you fill in the sections. If you can make your fill tool leave a border, do that but you can just do it manually. (I set mine around 7px border)

Make a layer behind the first one and fill in the outlines

Next add some texture. On the left I added some steaks of colour. You can go wild with this one. On the right, I just made a bumpy texture by making tight curls with an airbrush.

Add some dimension to the outlines and add darker colours in the places where the glass is darker

Add a black background behind both layers and add some dark purple and red glows. You can add different colours depending on what colour your glass is.

Finally make a new layer on top of everything and add some rays of light. Add some glow on the glass as well. You could add dust spots with a spotting texture brush if you want. Remember that light will wrap around an object and keep in mind how the shadows would work with your subject.

Once polished it should look something like this!
