yeah im a gimmick blog. the gimmick is that im really fucking hot and cool and all my opinions are objectively correct

something came up and now i want to talk abt this - my relations with/as kar’niss. I use the term fictionhearted because it’s not quite that i AM kar’niss, but i also dont fit the typical -hearted definition. it’s almost like instead of wrong soul/wrong body, my soul was split and the other half is kar’niss’s half. or, like, we were born as one then cleaved apart and put into our respective universes. like, when i see kar’niss, it’s less “that’s me” and it’s not even a “that used to be me”, it’s more like “that was supposed to be me”. when i identify myself AS kar’niss it feels more like wishful thinking than a truth. not to say i’m lying, but it’s like how you’ll call your parent’s best friend “aunt”/“uncle”. it’s not true, but you also arent lying. when i have memories of kar’niss its less “wow i remember this” and more “wow he let me have this”. i feel like in the distant realm of my canon, he’s probably also experiencing this instead of it being one-sided.

i’m aware that this may fit into the definition of fictionkin but i just personally dont like identifying that way because it doesn’t communicate what i want it to. if anyone knows a term for this id love to hear it
