I think if you’re constantly painting femmes with the same broad strokes about us being shallow, materialistic jerks who don’t care about returning that energy to our partners, you might be attracted to us, but I don’t think you actually like us. You don’t see us as individuals with variation. You’re just busy spreading misogyny 2.0 against femmes you don’t like when they aren’t exactly the type you think we should be.

But we aren’t set pieces for your life, meant to be the perfect and ideologically correct partner. We’re our own people being femme in ways unique to us. You cannot respect us without respecting that femme identity is just as complex as butch/stud identity.

If you only want to date a butch, or proclaim to like butches in general, when they fit your toxic idea of masculinity with standards that are in itself not always met by a hundred of reasons, including the fact that butches are real people who might come in different shapes and sizes, with traumas, physical or mental limitations, and another number of particularities that are simply human and in some occasions only natural, you sound shallow.

You can also uplift one specific group of people without mistreating another. You can have your preferences, like most people do, which are very personal and no one's business but yours, but you don't have to be insensitive to the other group's feelings, completely disregarding those when the only difference between the two is the fact that individuals in one of them won't fit your "uwu" vision of the ideal mate.

Start treating butches, mascs, and studs like the real people that they are and not just as the sexual/emotional toy/doll you want to shape and use for instant gratification.
