yeah...i'm feeling really numb at the moment but i've heard mysta's reasoning. i understand why he wants to leave and i support his decision

ngl, i lowkey saw this coming. because for a while now, when watching mysta's streams and the streams that he has been in, i realised that mysta hasn't been happy for a while now. but okay, this is just me assuming and my own observations. it may not be accurate and it may not be how mysta truly feels so please take it with a grain of salt. i feel that he hasn't enjoyed streaming in a while, he used to enjoy streaming but now streaming is a chore to him and doesn't bring him joy anymore

and now after hearing him out, i think that him leaving is probably the best thing that he can do for himself. i just feel awful for the rest of the luxiem boys. though i'm glad that he managed to meet them irl a few times

i'm gonna miss him so much. definitely going to make the most of the remaining month we have with him

lets talk about KOSA

i havent seen any posts about it on my dash, and i think this is really important because it puts Tumblr as well as queer/minority creators on this platform at risk. since i have a lot of queer mutuals, i want to make sure you all are informed.

KOSA (Kids Online Safety Act) is being presented to Congress this upcoming month. its being presented as a way to "protect teens/children and their mental health online by regulating content online". however, it puts queer/minority creators and their content at risk of being totally censored. sites like TikTok, Ao3/Wattpad, Tumblr, and essentially anything that gives queer people a significant platform online is at risk of being deleted/wiped or censored into oblivion. under the guise of "kids mental health" this act would heavily restrict queer people and their voices online.

what can you do?

this linktree provides resources to help you take action and protect queer voices online from KOSA. please take the time to do what you can. if you spend any amount of time on Tumblr and value any of the queer voices you have access to on this platform, take action.

Why is KOSA not trending? This bill aims to take down fandom related sites INCLUDING TUMBLR!!!?? Like we need to get this to #1 on trending and FAST! Please reblog posts on the tags with more resources and spread the word people, this is actually terrifying!!!

Also it doesn’t even end with KOSA, the Earn It Act and many more censorship bills are trying to slip through our legislature and I haven’t seen many people talk about it!

Remember everyone, this isn’t about “protecting children,” because if it was they’d go after actual R34 sites instead of queer people trying to live their damn lives!
