When you beat Rose you basically get to mug the CEO of Galar
Host: so here's the bathroom, it has unique and colorful walls, plus the sink in mint green!
Me: woah that's a really nice bathroom! I love the colors ^_^
Host: first thing we are going to do is remove the sink and repaint everything white! Also add this super generic floor tiles.
Me: YOU'RE GOING TO DO WHAT
I hate house renovation tv shows so fudging much.
Show host: so here's a house with lovely multi colored brick siding.
Me: wonderful, lovely, perfect.
Host: so we are going to remove the brick and paint it all white!

First off, I take no credit for this theory! It belongs to @tetheredavian74 , she just gave me permission to make a post about it!
Her theory is this: Rose is a time traveler.
Something horrible happened a thousand years in the future and he went back in time to make sure it could never happen by any means necessarry. That's why he had his whole speech about how the people of galar today wont matter in a millenium and talking about how he's going to change the course of history. It's also how he was able to develop such advanced technology. Plus he turns himself in afterwards. He doesnt try to run or hide or say he was in the right; his job was done.
I just had a realization about my trainersonas over the generations:
Most of my female trainersonas: CHAOS GREMLIN WHO CAN AND MAY KILL YOU
Most of my male trainersonas: soft baby boy, living embodiment of wholesome
Also all of the buyers who want white kitchens are absolute idiots. I have grown up in a house with a completely white kitchen and it sucks because ever surface looks dirty almost constantly.
