Every time I finally start feeling some sort of blissful about the Eddsworld fandom and how cool it is Hargreaves starts hating on the fandom again
I know the fandom is shitty and too attached at times but also like... The fandom keeps Eddsworld alive. "there's more fanart than actual art" because there's hardly any fucking EW content these days (the comics don't really count imo, cuz everyone focused on the eddisodes). At this point, there's more merch than actual EW content too, but ofc he's not gonna bring that up LMAO
Had it not been for the freaking fandoms' art, Eddsworld would've just slipped away. These characters have basic personalities and then we come and toy with them, and that thing- the fact they're one dimensional, it makes it more fun for us to play with. For us to create fanart, so that when there's a lack of content- we can make our own. It might be annoying but if he and Edd's family wanna keep eddsworld alive, they should be happy about the fanart
anyway, talking about the actual fan designs of the plushies... I do like them, the tord one kind of reminds me of legacy Tord's hair. So I don't understand why Matt said it doesn't fit or whatever
