I love Anita Sarkeesian and Feminist Frequency. LOVE. So I get really upset at the bullshit that gets hurled her way for daring to be a woman with an opinion on the internet. THE HORROR.

So I thought I'd poke fun at the astonishing unoriginality of Anita Sarkeesian' critics with a sarcastic flow chart, because who doesn't love sarcastic flow charts?. (For a full explanation, check out my post here on Gaming as Women.)

One of my favorite quotes from Weird Al's cult classic UHF is "guns don't kill people. I DO."

The surviving characters of the previously-mentioned game of Apocalypse World were (the erroneously named) Mr. Foster - our Faceless - and Adnan, our Savvyhead. I like to think that they survived, wandering the wastes and having adventures. Only because Mr. Foster is a recovering Faceless, wacky (mostly murderous) hijinks ensue. I have a few comics I've had rattling around in my head. This is inspired by the pronoun difficulty that Mr. Foster inspired.

Amusing responses and reblogs continue to pop up. My favorites so far (I'm not going to quote users, because frankly I don't want to validate these people):

1) Referring to me as "Herr Wundergeek". Yes. I am an evil nazi for pointing out that critics of TVW are all reading from the same script. Making fun of people who hate Anita Sarkeesian is the same as HATING FREEDOM. Or something.

2) ANITA SARKEESIAN IS A FRAUD. ...yeah, okay. Way to completely validate my flow chart, guys. Also, she's actually honoring her end of the deal and making videos. How's that Tropes Versus Men Kickstarter working out? ...yeah. That's what I thought.

3) ANITA IS A STRAW FEMINIST. ...uh, no. I do not think that word means what you think it means.

4) IF U NEED A FLOW CHART TO DISPROVE PEOPLE, YOU ARE WRONG. ...yeah, that would imply that I'm taking your arguments at all seriously. I'm just laughing at you.
