Bro I know all of my friends are tired of me saying this shit but I’m so genuinely touch starved that I have literally talked to other people about laying in bed and having them hold me. In the script for the scrapped season 2 episode 'Dog Dale Afternoon', Donnie is revealed to have an interest in the medical field as he states that he had enrolled himself into the medical magnet program in April's High School.

Within the script for the scrapped episode it is also shown that Donnie has turned one of the closets in April's High School into a small Doctor's Office made from various things found around April's High School for himself to use & Donnie also calls himself 'Doctor Donatello' when telling April that he will help her with the problem that her classmate Dale is having during the episode.
