The taeil situation should be a harsh reminder to everyone that we DO NOT KNOW OUR IDOLS.

I don’t want to see anyone defending him. I don’t want to see anyone downplaying the seriousness of this just because he’s a well loved idol. This is a very serious situation and he does not deserve any stupid kpop stans running to kiss the ground that he walks on even as he commits grevious sexual crimes.

You don’t know him. I don’t know him. We support and fall in love with whatever side of an idol that they put on screen. No matter how much content you watch from an idol, it can never be equivalent to knowing them. It’s very easy to fake things or only show the pleasant side of yourself to fans. It has happened countless times. Can we please accept this fact?

Yes, this news is shocking. It’s always a hard pill to swallow finding out that an idol you supported turned out to be a vile criminal. But can we please stop believing that our idols are perfect angels who can do no wrong? They are human. And many of them are men. There needs to be a wall separating delusion from reality.

DOHOON had woken up in the middle of the night, in instinct, he pat the spot next to him and only felt the cold pillow and duvet, not the warm body of her

He immediately sat straight up, feeling alarmed. Throwing the heating blanket off him, he rushed to the bathroom still feeling sleepy. He became awake when he didn’t find her there

CLANG!

Came from the kitchen so he rushed down only to find her and a pot on the ground

“Are you okay?” He asked, picking up the pot, putting it on the kitchen counter and immediately going to her and held her hand

“Yeah, i just felt hungry so…” she let out, looking down and watching their held hands

He simply smiled and plated kisses all over her hands “You should’ve woken me up, baby. I’d cook for you, you know that”

“I know, but you looked too peaceful while sleeping and I know your comeback is nearing so you’re probably so so tired, and you and your members have been so stressed and-“

He giggled to himself before cupping both of her cheeks and giving her a small peck on the lips— an effective way to shut her up when she starts rambling

“You shouldn’t worry about that. No matter how tired or stressed I am, seeing you, spending time with you, and seeing how happy and content you are is enough for me to feel better. Now, what does this hungry girl want?” He asked while lifting her and sitting her on the kitchen counter

The rest of dawn was filled with flirting, laughter, and eating. Dohoon couldn’t ask for a better (almost) morning than this

DOHOON just got back from practice, looking at the wall clock in the shared apartment with his girlfriend, it read ‘2:27 AM’

He sighed tiredly, feeling the fatigue from practice kicking in. He kicked his shoes and tossed his bag onto the couch

He entered their shared bedroom to see her still awake, laughing her heart out to a Tiktok video she saw

“Hi, baby!” She greeted enthusiastically, jumping out of bed and hugging him tightly. Dohoon could feel the tiredness leaving his body as he relishes in his girlfriend’s hug “Hey” he whispered out, burying his face on her shoulder

“Have you eaten already?” Dohoon shook his head, still hugging her “There’s some leftovers in the kitchen, come on, let’s reheat it” she then let go of the hug and made her way to the kitchen

Dohoon frowned and followed her to the kitchen before hugging her from the back “You’re clingy today” she commented

“I haven’t seen you for the whole day, can you blame me?” His words muffled as he kept his face buried on her shoulder blades

“It’s done, sit down and I’ll set it to you” and with reluctancy, he sat down and waited for her

She watched him eat with a smile on her lips. He looked cute, gobbling down the food like there’s no tomorrow. As Dohoon came to the last bite, he offered it to her who took it

Dohoon then washed the dishes and dragged her to the bedroom, lying down immediately

“You just ate, you’re gonna have an upset stomach” she lightly scolded, sitting up “You’ll take care of me anyway” Dohoon then pulled her down and hugged her

All she could do was laugh which made Dohoon smile
