Hopes and Goals

Okay, so since I've returned to being alive, and I am more than happy to repair any drone that needs repairing, there's another job I'd like to have that I work more of my time at. It'd be a fun idea because Jaybird is doing patrols but, I don't think she's enjoying her old job as much anymore. I hope to open my own beauty parlour though. I've been sewing new wigs made of heat resistant nylon, I've been practicing sharpening and polishing J's claws, I know how to cut, style and dye wigs. I just need somewhere to set up shop. Maybe Jaybird will see a building that survived the planet explosion that I could use because I don't want to open shop in the bunker, a lot of drones are scared of J, and I want her be welcome any time she wants to be there with me. It would be fun having her as a receptionist.

I know it's a crazy, outback, ridiculous dingo-brained pipe dream, but a girl can dream, right?

(another set of questions from xXRoboTessaXx) Are w-... I mean you able to drink other kinds of oil? Like lavender oil? I'm asking for someone who's at the store right now and is getting hungry and REALLY wants to chug it like it's strawberry tea... and said friend might be me

I don’t think so..I’ve never tried flavored..scented oil?? You mean like the ones you use for HUMIDIFIERS??!

TESSA —- you need actual oil, that’s not enough to replenish you. I doubt it would work since we weren’t built or feed off from LAVENDER OIL.

"We'll think and talk about it. I can't make any promises for Jaybird," Tessa stopped her rambling and covered her mouth in surprise that she just blurted her pet name for J out in front of someone else. "I'm sorry, please don't tell her I said that," she giggled in embarrassment.

The brunette security drone would just sigh... hand Tessa a thermos of oil, and calmly signaled for her to go.

"Just... don't wander so closely to the camera room next time, alright... kiddo?"

She wasn't sure if this was actually Tessa or a facsimile, so she was being a bit standoffish for the time being.

Vanessa wasn't about to say that J already knew who she was... since she thought it was better to let Tessa figure it out and remember on her own.

Being the sole security drone in the manor was a complicated operation. She had to keep the workers organized and in check, especially when Tessa's parents were not home... while juggling other duties like pest control and keeping an eye on the kid as well.

That night though, she wasn't there... technically. She could still remember when that body went offline suddenly as something suddenly cut through her core.

Tessa hugged Nate a lot. "I know... she looked up to me, like I was her big sister... she copied me," she even laughed a little, "Especially the one time she decided to give my sleeping mother an impromptu pixie cut," Tessa giggled at the thought, "It was poetic justice for all the times Mother kept scolding me about my hair."

She responded, "Yes... she did really bad things, but there were also fun times and good memories, albeit now, they're a bit sad and tainted, we still are alright to grieve." She rested her chin on N's hat. "Oh Nate, you're so precious... I'm sorry for everything she did to you, but also for your loss of someone you cared about so much."

Hey Nate, it's Tessa (xXRoboTessaXx) I figured out a recipe for oil ice cream, I'll bring some by later. Do you know if the worker drone colony has a clothing store? I need more clothes to wear than the spacesuit, my dress from J and the pretty blue one someone gifted to me. No rush, I'll meet you at the second doors.

He opens the door excited "...are you able to fly? I know were there's a store"

She giggled, "A lot better now that I'm around again, but she worries a lot when I go out places without her... but I promised I'd be safe."

She hugged Nate and then took her bags of new things. "Thank you again! I'll see you soon, I'm sure."

She headed out the doors of the bunker, making her way back to J's. She was happy and excited to have her other favourite drone, the one she saw akin to a little brother, back in her life again. ((feel free to send a new starter whenever you'd like)
