Was the breakup devestating and hard to watch? Yes.

Bradley breaking down is 100% on point. Bradley knows deep down the extent of her actions, but unless someone holds her accountable, she will continue to pull shit like that. She has not set boundaries for herself, and there is no line she wouldn't cross when it comes to family. But that's not how the world works. Actions have consequences, whether we like it or not.

Laura sticks to her values and draws her boundaries. Not only is she breaking her own heart in putting her foot down on the blatant unlawfulness that has occurred this season. But she is also demonstrating to Bradley what it is to take responsibility, to be held accountable. She got herself into this relationship. She will take herself out of it when it does not align with her values.

I just hope one day I can be as strong as Laura. She has taught me so much already, but there's still so much to learn.

i think some of y'all are being too hard on harry. we also have his side of the story and it is legit NOT that he didn't care about her. au contraire, he cared for her very very deeply. He was a small child terrified by how much he cared being thrown into a world of non-stop celebrity and fame at 16 years old. like he wasn't just some dude who dicked taylor around, he was a victim of the same system that hurt her.

but the politics and gender roles of it were different. the larries were the largest and loudest part of the 1d fandom and they were crazy people. "everyone wants him, that was my crime" like the whole reason the song slut works at all is because this shit was mutual!!

they dicked each other around not saying what they wanted to say, not drawing lines in the sand, not being real.. She was hooking up with him well after being devastated and resigning herself to never having something real with him. and after they stopped talking, it took him YEARS to try again as anying more than a casual hookup.

to claim that harry was the villain of the haylor story is absurd and unfair. the villain is, was, and will always be fame.
