What really bothers me about the way some people talk about Succession is the way they never allow for any grey area or complex characters.

learning that tim’s ambiguous feelings blossomed into love for bern of all people was, quite frankly, jarring bc it’s like learning superman wasn’t just lusting after lana lang in high school, but pete ross too. nothing wrong with timmers getting his mans, but the fact that bernbear beat all the “forgettable side-side-side character” allegations, copped a hot robin as a boyfriend, AND killed timkon nation in one fell sweep…. have to salute a motherfucker for his swag 🫡 here’s to hoping clark kent comes out as bi during superman’s 100th anniversary, and admits he WAS in fact deeply in love with pete as well as lana, so we can come full circle and get some closure for the true supes/pete ratchetry that was their silver age relationship.
