• For Zayne girlies who like watching anime/ playing VNs and games like me

• He's not interested in it by himself initially ofc but he knows you like watching/ playing them. When you're engrossed with rapt attention, it'll start to pique his curiosity as to what's so interesting in it that you're giving it more attention than him 😾 He'll probably peer into your screen and ask "Is it that interesting? What is it about?"

• Will 100% judge you and the anime where ecchi stuff like panty/ oppai shots come up 😭 (fair tbh but imagining it from him is extra funny)

• He'd actually enjoy watching slice of life/ iyashikei genres a lot tho. He'd rather just continue working beside you while you enjoy your show but then if it's on tv he'll sneak glances and eventually start watching bits and pieces of it until he realises he's enjoying them as well. Stuff like Spy Family would probs interest him. Even stuff like Yuru Camp or Slow Loop, considering that he's mentioned hiking a few times in our destiny cafe interactions.

• Pls keep this man away from trauamtic stuff like JJK ( cuz it has stuff about curses and all, we don't want him to get re-traumatised by it ☹️☹️☹️) Also just in general sad romances like ShigaUso would really hurt him ( I'm just hurting myself now by imagining all of this). Even looping stuff like Re:Zero would rekindle his pain :(

Summary: Zayne is suffering from a terrible backache after yet another series of back to back surgeries this week and you give him a massage to make him feel better 🫣

(it's my first fic ever and idk how this really works 😭but let's give it a try anyways :3)

You were done with your hunter duties for the week and it was finally chill time. You lay on your sofa scrolling through your phone, waiting for Zayne to come over as he promised. Just as you opened Zayne's chat to ask him where he was, you heard the doorbell go off. You sprang up that very instant and ran off to greet him at the door.

Opening the door revealed an obviously exhausted Zayne, but he seemed to be more stiff than usual; his stoic expression was laced with an ever so slight frown. He would usually wait to hug you at the door itself everytime he would come over, but he removed his shoes and walked straight over to the couch, keeping his coat aside.

It was obvious that he was exhausted from work given that he's a damn workaholic but it was unlike him to actually show it behaviourally. You sat onto the couch beside him and greeted him with a "Konshuu mo otsukaresamaaaaa!" (Good work this week as well), with a smile on your face. He mumbles back a tired thanks and there's silence once more. You strike up conversation again, asking him whether he'd like to go for dinner first or bath first. He stays silent for a few seconds, before deciding on taking a hot shower first.

As he attempts to get off the couch, he winces in pain; a soft grunt escapes his mouth as he struggles to stand up straight. That grunt says it all-- you understood that he's dealing with another one of his back pains after a harrowing week full of back-to-back surgeries. You get up and follow him to your bedroom. "If you're having a back ache you should just say so, Zayne. Hiding it isn't going to help you. This isn't Akso, you can be free with me and tell me." He takes the towel from you and goes into the bathroom for a warm shower that would help him loosen his stiff back.

The bathroom door slides open and steam escapes. A towel clad Zayne walks out looking much more relaxed but stops in his tracks seeing you still sitting on your bed. "What are you doing?" he asks. "?? It's my bedroom though ??" you reply feigning innocence. "I know that. I'm going to get changed so please leave." Zayne days, trying to mask his embarrassment.

"More importantly," you say as you stand up and move towards him "Don't you think you could use some help too, Doctor?" "And how do you plan to help me?" "I'll give you a nice y/n special massage!" you say with a genuine yet somewhat smug smile. He remains standing in his towel trying to gauge what tricks you might be upto this time but you merrily guide him to the bed by the hand and ask him to lie down.

You rush him up and he lies face-down on the bed, forgetting that he's still in his towel. Eventually, he feels the mattress at the side of his legs sink from the weight of your knees are you hover above him, getting ready to massage his back. A devious smile dances on your lips and you lightly tug on Zayne's towel to lower it. You knew very well what you were doing and continued to do so with no remorse. "Behave yourself. What are you doing?" "Now now Doctor Zayne, I can't apply the analgesic properly unless the towel is out of the way, can I?" "If your hands don't stop being mischievous then I can show you how surgeons tie knots" Zayne protested. "Okay, okay I'm starting now" you dismiss him.

You apply the analgesic and begin massaging him with gentle pressure. Initially Zayne is awfully quiet but as you increase the pressure, you hear soft muffled grunts from Zayne. You didn't want to hurt him of course but those grunts were getting to you and made you want to elicit more of them from him. At one point, when you pressed the exact spot from where his pain was emanating, he gives a comparatively louder grunt and you notice his tightening grip on the bedsheet. "Sorry Zayne, I know you're in pain but that was so freaking hot~~~!!!!" You think to yourself as you struggle to control your lips from curling into a smile.

At last, after the massage was done, you get off the bed and wash your hands to get the analgesic off. When you came back, Zayne continued to be in the face-down position as before. You ask him "Zayne? I'm done. Did you fall asleep or something? You'll catch a col-" As you approach him, you see that he's very much awake, and his ears flushed a deep red. He desperately tries to face away from you trying to hide the blush creeping onto his cheeks, and says "Thanks, I'm fine, I'll be like this for a while to let the massage take its effect." "Hmmm, is that sooooo~?" you tease, enjoying seeing him blush.

You lean in closer to his ears and purposefully breathe on his neck and ears, whispering in a hushed tone "In that case, why don't you turn around and rest your back?" Your sweet breath on his sensitive neck sends a shiver down his spine, get he refuses to move from that position. Well of course he couldn't. You touching his exposed sensitive back all over without any restraint caused him to get aroused and all he has on right now is a towel. There's no way in hell he could turn and face you like this, all bricked up from being massaged.

"Is there some problem, Doctor~?" you continue to tease, finishing off by lightly biting his ear. "I hope your back feels much better now~" Speechless and blushing, Zayne's ears remain flushed for a while as you prepare to serve dinner, giggling to yourself the entire time.

Bonus: you probably had to dry the damp patch on the bed later with a hairdryer cuz Zayne's towel was still wet after the shower. The price for toying with him 😭🤣
