Hey, my dad lived in Crimea till 2014 and lives in central Ukraine now. You were probably very young when the annexation occurred, but I want you to know every one I know who managed to flee in 2014 still supports Ukraine and miss home deeply. Everyone in my neighborhood, here in the states, fly Ukrainian flags or have them as bumper stickers.

We see you, we love you, we miss you. One day Ukrainians in Crimea will live freely and in peace. You are not alone, and I wish you could have grown up freely with my family in Crimea. I hope I get to see my family who couldn't flee.

Thank you so much! This really means a lot to me, and I cannot express it enough. Yes, I was young back in 2014. Ukraine is just vague old childhood memories in here. But I know that it was my home, and I will return here one day. My soul is with you all, even after all these years of russia trying to destroy this connection. Thank you for remembering about Ukranians in Crimea, it's nice to know we weren't forgotten.
