It reminds me so much of that atheist memes Instagram page I used to follow when I was 11, that would always compare the symptoms of religious trauma and OCD (which is true and should be talked about), only to laugh at how "religious fanaticism is clearly mentally ill" and "you guys have got issues".

Also, going to the gym on the regular and eating lots of protein in the hopes of getting buff is more or less my only path in which I have a good chance of ever feeling satisfied with my body without starving, so seeing people calling it "basically just ED light" is so demotivating and honestly just makes me want to give up on recovery. (Will give the link to anyone who wants it) And Sirius was, yes, evil, but also canonically queer, and there's so much amazing stuff you could do with a teen Gryffindor dark wizard who is kinda friends with a group of bullies who want to believe he's better than his family, aka maybe an asshole, but not ACTUALLY EVIL, and can't pick up on the signs until it's too late, and who- okay, just imagine in the hpmor marauders era, hpmor Sirius manipulating hpmor Peter, who was his BOYFRIEND, who wanted to believe the best about him, who was drawn by his charisma and his charm, and the relationship slowly turning truly horrible, too slowly for Peter to be able to notice what's going on and leave, until it all blows up in everyone's face- what was the big disaster that ended it all? Okay, so- does anyone on Tumblr have an idea for this one?

So lately, I've started writing songs, for a musical i thought would be fun to make out of a fantasy story i like. Now, one of the songs i planned to make is about a character who comes from a family of nazi-equivelents who held high positions of power in the movement, explaining to another character, who is of high status but new to the world's politics, the principles behind their nazi-equivelent movement's ideology. The current working title of the song is "we were once great, but we have fallen".

Thing is, i can't think of a melody that could fit. Every time i try, the only things that pop into my head are either the star wars "pam pam pam pa pa-pam pa pa-pam" or "tomorrow belongs to me", neither of which fit the atmosphere I'm aiming for (the first isn't sincere enough, the second has lines that are short in a way that fits an abstract song about principles but not an expository one). Does anyone have an idea for how i should even... Go about making a melody? And i need to have a melody, or at least a structure for the lyrics, in order to make the actual words for the song around it.

Yes, sexual relationships between adults and children are always a bad and immoral thing. No auguring about that. If you think THAT'S okay, obviously unfollow me.

But I do feel like posts like this don't do a good enough job of explaining what specifically they mean when they're talking about pedophilia.

Take the first post in the chain, for example. Yes, obviously some people do, and shouldn't, use the language of kink and BDSM to try and mask child predation. But we don't know if this post is even talking about that or about, for example, age regression kinks between adults.

And the thing is, every individual link in this chain of reblogs could be talking about entirely different things, that are all labeled under the same umbrella term, that is then applied the same moral value. When you're talking about "MAPs", do you mean the ones who are in favor of or against actually interacting with minors? Big distinction. When you're saying pedophiles, does that include people who experience sexual attraction towards real-life children but wouldn't act on it, people who are attracted towards fictional characters who are under the age of consent, who are aroused by roleplaying infantilism as an adult, who watch child porn made about real children but think that taking action like that in the real world is a moral boundary they wouldn't cross? Or just about real-life groomers and abusers? Because these are all real and distinct groups who should be treated differently. And I can assure you that there are at least two people on this chain who mean different things when they say "pedophile".

I don't know why I'm making this post. I guess I'm just tired of seeing post after post trying to conflate people who watch animated loli with people who go out there and give real children sexual trauma.

Also, if your response to me asking you to please consider whether or not you're communicating clearly is to try and wish death or torture upon me, just... Wow. You really do think that was a good person thing to do, that's the saddest part.
