in eighth grade, my best friend wrote an essay about how badass barbie is and how no one should shit on her because she’s amazing and like did all these amazing careers, multiple of which required several years of schooling

I hope Barbie is so good and successful it makes every executive that’s turned everything bright and fun made for young girls into edgy boring teen dramas for the last ten years spontaneously combust into flames

Fun fact of the day:

Bege from one piece is based on Al Capone, a mafia leader in Chicago in the late 30’s. Al Capone was also called Scar Face because he has a scar by his eye due to a fight.

Why do I know this? You ask, well I had to do a report on Al Capone in 8th grade, and during my presentation I mentioned that many characters are based off him in films and books, and when asked to say someone who was inspired by him, I said Bege, and the whole class laughed at me and I never truly ever recovered, even to this day.
