It was no secret that you had a thing for the hot headed blonde. You practically professed your love for him on a daily basis.

You immediately took a liking to Bakugo when you first met him, you liked how brave and ruthlessly honest he was

It didn’t take long for you to confess your feelings to the boy

You asked him to stay after school and told him that you needed to tell him something

You held his hand, looked straight into his eyes and with tried to hide all your nervousness. “I- I like you, Bakugou and not in a friend way. I think you’re really cool a-and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go out sometime.”

He was taken aback by how sure you sounded and quickly pulled his hand out of your grasp, looked away and tried to hide the huge blush on his face, he responded. “Hah, W-what the hell are you saying idiot. You can’t be serious.”

“I came to UA to be the number one hero and I don’t need distractions like you along the way.” He wasn’t trying to be rude but he isn’t the type of guy to lead someone on, he wanted to be straight-forward and honest. But even so he started thinking about if what he said was a little too harsh.

He was abruptly pulled from his thoughts by the sound of your voice. “I already knew that but still I wanted to tell you how I felt, I’m perfectly fine with staying by your side and being your friend, Bakugo. Just a warning though I don’t give up easily, even if you don’t like me right now I’ll get you to like me eventually. So you better be prepared!” 

And that’s how your everyday routine started. You wanted to show him that you meant what you said so you kept pursuing him. Everyday you’d get him a random gift that you said screamed “Lord Explosion Murder”, so far he’s gotten little keychains, a wallet and even figurines to put in his room because of this you eventually earned the right to start calling him by his first name.

You also woke up extra early somedays so you could make him a cute bento box and made it extra spicy because you knew how much he loved that. You even left post-it notes with cute messages like “Hope you have a good day, cutie” or “You got this!” with either a heart or a derpy smiley face.

Bakugo was pleasantly surprised that you kept true to your word and as much as he hated to admit it he started to look forward to all these things . But every single time you asked him if he’s changed his mind he’d always respond with “No, just stop asking me idiot”

Somehow that always pushed you to do better since you had no doubts about your feelings for him. This went on for a couple of months until one he said something he couldn’t take back

Today was a shit day for Bakugo. First, he was late since his alarm didn’t go off, then he got pranked by stupid Dunce Face and got his clothes covered in paint and to top it all off he ended up with another draw against fucking Deku so overall it was the shittiest Friday he’d ever experienced.

He was sitting in the commons with a frown on his face, everyone could sense that his patience was drawing to an end so no one was bothering him. You obviously noticed too and wanted to make him feel better so you went up to him with a determined look on your face and tried to strike up a conversation.

“Hey… don’t be so hard on yourself, Katsuki. You did really good today.” As soon as he looked up at you; you could tell that you probably said the wrong thing.

“Shut up you fucking idiot! Just because you think I did good doesn’t mean I did. Nobody was asking for your fucking opinion so why don’t you just shut up and leave me alone, I’m not some idiot that needs your approval or are you just that desperate for my attention that you’ll stick your nose into shit that doesn’t involve you.” You tried to reason with him and tell him that you didn’t mean it like that.

“Katsu-” 

“No, listen here because I’m only gonna say this once so get this through your thick skull. I don’t like you, Y/N. I didn’t 3 months ago and I sure as hell don’t now so why don’t you do both of us a favour and fuck off because this whole thing is kind of depressing.”

By the time he was done with his rant everyone was looking at you two. God, you felt like such an idiot. Why would you ever think that he’d like you. 

You muttered a quick sorry while trying your best not to cry and ran into your room.

Kirishima, Bakugo’s best friend just looked at him and shook his head. “I know you’re frustrated but you didn’t have to take it out on her. That was a dick move, man. You know how much she likes you.”

“Tch, whatever she’ll probably be back to annoying me on Monday.” But you weren’t.

He saw you across the hall and expected you to greet him with a smile and a good morning just like you do everyday but he was shocked to see that you walked past him.

Annoyed that you’d ignored him he walked into class thinking that he’d be able to talk to you there since you always found a reason to sit next him. But today you decided to sit across the room to say he was pissed was an understatement, he was fucking fuming.

“Oi, dumbass what the hell are you doing over there?” He yells clearly mad

You didn’t answer, you just pretended that everything was fine and started talking to Shoji who was sitting right behind you. While you tried convincing yourself that it was better this way.

He’d had enough and while you were walking down the hall he grabbed you by the hand and pulled you into an empty classroom. “What the hells the matter with you, dumbass. I haven’t talked to you in basically a week this is getting ridiculous.” he said in a quieter tone than how he normally sounded.

Yet you still said nothing. “Come on. Say something, anything. please”

“I’m just doing what you wanted me to do, right? I’m leaving you alone. Isn’t this what you’ve been waiting for?”

“I’m done, Bakugo. I can’t keep pushing my feelings aside and putting my life on hold just for you to not even appreciate me.”

You turned around and pulled the door open but it was slammed shut by him.

“So you’re just gonna give up on me? Just like that?” he yelled.

You were furious. How dare he say that when he doesn’t have any right to

“Are you fucking kidding me? I’ve been trying so hard to pretend I’m fine but you know what the truth is, Bakugo. These last few moths have been hell, I don’t wanna be your friend. I wanna be so much more than that and I’ve been respecting your wishes and keeping it to myself but there are moments just like this where I think to myself that maybe I have a chance, maybe if I stay close to you; you’ll finally feel the same way, maybe-”

“Maybe I already do. Maybe I like you and maybeI just didn’t know how to say it, maybe I’m an idiot who took way too long to understand my feelings but maybe I want another chance… another chance with you” He interrupted.

You looked at him with wide eyes and said “If this is a joke it’s really not fu-”

Then it happened something you’ve been wanting for so long but never expect to actually happen. He kissed you. Bakugou Katsuki was kissing you 

By the time you realized what was happened he’d already pulled away and with your foreheads touching he spoke 

“Y/N I like you. I really really like you and I know I don’t deserve another chance but I was wondering if you’d be mine?”

“You really are an idiot aren’t you, Katsuki?” I wrapped my hand around his tie and pulled him down to my level and kissed him again. 

“Is that a yes?” he asks with a hopeful smile.

“Of course it’s a yes you fucking idiot”

Never do I see fics where the reader is older than the character. Like, if you were a 3rd year while Bakugou was a first and he was secretly but absolutely infatuated with you. Your quirk was just so cool and he would daydream about ways the two of you could work together, quirks complementing the other so nicely.

Then you graduate, and a few years later he graduates, but never did he get a chance to work with you, to see if the two of you fit as well as he knew you would.

And over the years the both of you would rise up the hero rankings, him breaking top 3, and even after that you would never call him "Dynamight" or even "Bakugou" but always "kid" even though he was only 2 years younger and much much bigger.

He notices they’re hurt and he has a secret fondness for that type of animal and tries to help them but obviously reader is like NO and is kinda aggressive towards him.

Bakugou backs off because he just wants to help and notices that reader still completely transformed is a little bigger than the usual type of animal he’s seen so he watches them for a while but never finds anything different and is like “maybe they’re just large?” But one day while watching them he sees them un-transform themself. He thinks “wow they’re stunning” and wants to get closer to them.
