What about Bernie Sanders do you not like?
He’s against open borders because he’s a nationalist and subscribes to the myth that migrants hurt jobs
He voted to extradite Assata Shakur from Cuba, despite pretending to care about black lives
He supported Clinton’s bombing of Kosovo, prompting his own staff to resign, and he told people who disagreed with this to shut up and leave
He supports the state of Israel’s genocide and occupation of Palestine
His “socialism” is not radical, but reactionary – described perfectly as petty-bourgeoisie socialism
He voted to have food stamps cut, despite his “socialism”
I personally believe he uses the topic of police brutality for black votes only, but instead of campaigning in cities with high POC populations, he sticks to cities that are largely white to draw large mostly white crowds – and he’d rather focus on his campaign instead of standing with the Ferguson, Baltimore, Cincinatti, Phoenix, Denver, or Oakland protesters when they’ve needed the mainstream support the most
He plans to give his delegates to Hillary if he thinks he can’t win, despite being so against the two-party corporatocracy that herself and the party they’re both running under represent
He has nothing to say about native, migrant, or trans lives whatsoever
He voted to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
He’s just pretty trash overall, even if I might agree with him on some things. His entire campaign keeps people who WOULD be radicals from grassroots organizing by directing grassroots efforts to some shitty presidential election.
I don’t care if you vote for him, I don’t care if you think he’s the lesser of evils, he’s still a part of the same corrupt system, and when it comes down to it I think he will be the enemy of the people if we ever tried to implement an alternative system, such as one based around direct action and mutual aid rather than property and surplus value.
i do hope that bernie sanders does win the U.S. elections so tumblr realizes that electoral politics are futile even when you elect pseudo-socialists

Look at me. Look me in the eye. On November the 8th, 2016, one of two things will happen: Hillary Clinton will become president, or Donald Trump will become president. These are the only two possibilities. The superdelegates aren’t going to switch. An indictment isn’t coming. There is no third possibility. There is no space between the spaces where you can hide. Every vote for Donald Trump requires two Hilary Clinton votes to overcome. A Hillary Clinton vote can only be overcome by two Donald Trump votes. If you stay home, a Donald Trump vote doubles its power. This is the real, actual reality of the situation. There is not one other option.
I’m voting Green in a deep blue state though so I should be fine :V
ELECT YOUR GODDAMN CONGRESS THOUGH AT LEAST
If Sanders doesn’t get the nomination, and you can’t see yourself voting for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, then don’t. Vote third party.
Consider the Libertarian or Green Party.
Don’t feed the establishment by voting for Clinton, and don’t feed authoritarian isolationism by voting for Trump.

that if you’re still worried about more republicans ending up on the supreme court
2/3rds of the senate are up for election with the president/vp
so even if trump does get back in, a democrat senate won’t pull the supreme and circuits courts as far to the right as mitch fucking mcconnell’s would, and that’s assuming they’d give trump’s pick the time of day
as long as you secure a simple majority you’re good
