Teaser for new project I am working on.
Planning on posting the Fang redesigns on Friday. My quick thought on Volcano High is well… I didn’t really like it. I didn’t like that the characters were the most one note characters ever written, The fact your choices don’t matter in the game was a bad move, and honestly the character designs were weird. I don’t have a problem if people like the game but overall I say it had missed potential. So for my redesign for Fang are small changes like to make their snout more long, remove the wings on their back and make the wings a part of their arms instead because I thought the wings on the back made their design too crowded, and I am getting rid of that hair because I am being honest… I think the hair looks kind of ugly on them and a little stupid. But yeah that’s it.
I might have to post the Fang redesign a little later. I keep having ideas on what I want to do. I will get it out while I can.
Here they are! Fang redesigned!! I am really proud on how they turned out. I don’t know if I should redesign any other characters from Goodbye Volcano High but here they are.

I think I might make Hazbin Hotel redesigns just to spite the show.
For my Hazbin Hotel redesigns I am going to start off with Vaggie and Charlie. Then next will be Angel Dust and Alastar. Next Nifty and Husk. Last I am probably doing Cherry and Sir Pentious. I might do some other characters but that is based on wether I feel like it. I might also change some of their names because not going to lie some of them sound bad.
P.S. I might also do some Helluva Boss redesigns even though I find that show a little more bearable than Hazbin Hotel.

Here is my redesign of Vaggie, which I renamed Valerie or Val for short. I enjoyed drawing her. But what do you guys think?
So one note I want to make for my Angel Dust redesign. I am making him a drag queen and I will be making him a little less skinny.

Here are some other notes for the other character redesigns.
Husk- Since I made two characters hefty already I want to make Husk a bit more bulky. More semi muscular. I am also going to give him clothing because he needs to look presentable as a bartender.
Nifty- I am not going to change much because I already like her design but I am making her more bug like. But I am also going to lean in more on the 50s clothing style.
Cherri bomb- I also like her design but I want to lean in on a 80s punk fashion because I believe it suits her. I am giving her messier hair, leather jacket with leather pants, and more red color motifs.
Sir Pentious- Not much I can say but make him more snake like.
Alastor- I saved him for last because I have a lot of ideas but I can’t settle on what to go for. But some key design changes are that I am using Cab Calloway as reference for him because he is canonically creole which means he is black and European. I am also putting more radio motifs for him to really sell him as the “Radio Demon.” My only obstacle is how I should implement the deer in his design.
I think might just stop at the main cast because I don’t really feel like redesigning the rest such as Valentino, Vox, Velvet, Sera, Emily, Adam, or Lute. But I also want to do Helluva Boss redesigns because I really like Helluva Boss.
Oh I forgot one key change for Husk’s redesign. I am getting rid of those goddamn wings be
But another thing is I might re-re design the others. I like how they turned out but I want to experiment with my art style and I want to take the redesigns I did and tweak them up a bit or change aspects that I felt were lacking in them. One thing is that I might make Angel Dust skinny again because his original look grew on me but also it feels like I just made an oc and called it a redesign. So that’s what I want to do. I want to stay true to the original designs but adding my own flare to them. Basically if Vivziepop herself came up to me and asked me to finalize the designs. But yeah I am still working on the redesigns.

I’m still working on redesigns but I also want to post more of my ocs.
So I am taking a hiatus from the Hazbin Hotel redesigns. I will post redesigns whenever I feel like but I want to post my ocs and original art more. But I am also working with my art style so I can figure out the feel I want the redesigns to invoke.
