I really don’t want Credence to get a girlfriend tbh. Not just because I think he’s gay or not or whatever, but more because I hate that sad characters seem to never get happy until they fall in love. Why can’t they ever just be happy with new friends or family, or why should they have to rely on anyone else for happiness anyway?

This is how I feel about the “new” Credence.

Tbh I’m a little scared. It’s only been maybe a year since the last movie took place (the new movie is set in 1927) So, I’m really curious to see how he could have made so much progress in that time. But I’m also scared we won’t get any of the Credence we got in the first one… like, he honestly looks pissed off in the new picture, and I’m really hoping he’s not “out to get Grindelwald” or looking for revenge or something. Because I really don’t see Credence being that type of person… Maybe I’m too hung up on the version of Credence that I’ve written, lol— but I still want his sweet innocence that makes him Credence. I know I just have to trust J. K. Rowling with it.. but I still have his unsettling feeling. What are your thoughts?

The Maledictus Witch is a Fantastic Beast

I think she will be fiercely protected by Newt, just as Credence will. He is also a Fantastic Beast, being an obscurial himself. I hope these outcasts will know which side to pick but here’s the WRENCH: they’re going to find out about Dumbledore’s sister. Credence will lose all trust in Dumbledore, but probably not Newt. He and Maledictus will have a platonic bond. Credence has been queer-coded beyond doubt. 

Does Credence Remember Tina?

Have we established whether or not Credence actually remembers Tina from when Tina attacked Mary-Lou? Obviously, Tina remembers since we see the event through her memories, but does Credence? In the Blind Pig, Tina tells Newt that everyone was oblivated and it was some big scandal. That implies that MACUSA oblivated Credence along with all of the other Second Salmers. Credence, in both movies, has never seemed to recognize Tina. Is he aware that she lost her job trying to save him? Will he become aware of this in a later movie? In fics I read, it seems like Credence always remembers what Tina did for him, but I really don’t think that he should.

What if Credence meets the original Percival Graves?

Ok so I was bored last night and got thinking about the fantastic beasts movies and I had this idea, partly because the next movies is supposed to be set partly in Brazil which is my home country.

The real Percival Graves hasn’t been found by MACUSA, and he’s presumed dead. However, he’s actually imprisoned in Nurmengard. Credence is wandering around the castle one day and he comes across Percival. Credence freaks out a bit because he didn’t realize Graves was an actual person, he thought he was just a persona Grindelwald made up. Graves notices him and he’s like “so you’re Grindelwald’s newest project.” and Credence is confused because “what do you mean ‘project’???” So Graves tells him that Grinldelwald came down to boast to about have managed to trick an American Obscurial into working for him partly using his impersonation of Graves. Credence gets mad and thinks he’s lying at first so he storms off. But then he starts to notice that for all of Grindelwald’s talk about how much he cares for Credence, he really treats Credence more like a weapon than a person, let alone an ally. So he goes back to where he found Percival the first time, and this time Percival is really beat up and barely conscious and Credence is horrified. So he starts planing his escape. he’s been learning oclumency so he’s desperately hoping it’s enough to keep Queenie from noticing. It isn’t but she also sees why he wants to escape and she’s as horrified as he was, if not more so because she knew Percival. He was her big sister’s mentor and boss. She’s heard tons about him from Tina, so she knows he’s a good man, if a bit grumpy. So she starts helping Credence. They plan and plan, and when Grindelwald goes on a raid without either them, they make a break for it with Percival in tow. Credence’s original plan was to catch a boat straight to America, but Queenie points out that Grindelwald will expect that, so they catch a boat to Brazil and plan to go to America from there. They run into Newt and co. in Brazil and end up helping with whatever shenanigans they’ve gotten into, but Grindelwald sees them.

I couldn’t decide what the result of that would be other than either Percival, Queenie, Credence, or Jacob would probably get killed. (Lets face it J.K. Rowling isn’t going to let all of the squad live, this is the woman that killed all of Harry’s reliable adults except Hagrid who lacks common sense a lot of the time. Not to mention that she not only killed Fred, but killed him without George, forcing George to live without his beloved twin for the rest of his life) 

What do you guys think would happen?

Barebone siblings change things up

Can you imagine if Chastity and Modesty knew about Grindelgraves when he was trying to use Credence to find the Obscurus. They would both be so suspicious of him, because why on earth is this clearly well off guy who doesn’t care about the Second Salem cause talking to their awkward big brother. As a result Credence would probably be way less trusting of Grindelgraves, and press for his to start teaching him magic. So he would but he would also tell Credence stuff like” don’t expect it to work on the first try, especially since you don’t have a wand” But then Credence succeeds at the spells and keeps succeeding. He starts teaching his sisters when Mary Lou isn’t home and the find out Modesty can do magic but Chastity can’t. And Grindelgraves starts to suspect Modesty is the Obscurus since it obviously can’t be Credence, but Credence won’t introduce her to Grindelgraves. Then the events of the movie happen but w/ out Chastity dying. 

Instead of going straight to France, Credence finds his sisters as soon as he re-forms and they escape together, onto the same ship Newt is on. (theres a deleted scene in the movie where Credence does this.) And since 3 people are a lot harder to hide that 1 even with their improvised and untrained magic, Newt finds them. So when the get to England, Newt smuggles them off the boat, and they end up sticking with him because Newt is awkward and shy bu he’s also kind. The know how to tell kind people from cruel ones, after all, they were raised by Mary Lou. Newt sends a letter to Tina and Queenie to let them now Credence survived. So Tina and Queenie visit, which avoids the engagement mix up.

Credence, Chastity and Modesty are all registered as Newt’s adopted children at the Ministry and no one as put two and two together and figured out Credence Scamander is Credence Barebone, the kid Grindelwald is after.So the MOM asks Newt to hunt him, same as in the movie, based on the rumor that Credence is in France. He refuses, but this time he’s not worried about Credence because he know Credence is safely living with him. He finally accepts Theseus and Leta’s dinner invite, on the condition he can bring his kids along. He gets a Howler from Theseus scolding hem for not mentioning he has kids now and of course they can come.

Theseus losses his mind obviously when he realizes Newt’s oldest kid is the kid they asked him to hunt down. Leta thinks it’s hilarious and keeps her fiancé from loosing it at is brother. Theseus and Leta agree to keep  it a secret that Newt has adopted the Barebone kids, though Modesty is gong to be going to Hogwarts in two years. Newt still ends up going to France with Jacob, and the Crimes of Grindelwald still happens just without Credence’s role in the movie, though Yusef is still hunting him, and Leta still tells them what happened to her little brother. Everything else stays pretty much the same except in this world the Barebones have lost their new but already much loved Aunt Leta. The MOM still hans’t figured out that Newt’s kids are the Barebones, Theseus is a bit overprotective of them.

Basically, Credence gets love and support and the Barbeone kids gat a good dad in Newt and eventually a good mom in the form of Tina

My favorite scenes in this movie were Dumbledore admitted that he loved Grindelwald ( I mean we all knew it to begin with but he openly admit. )

Queenie and Jacob got married for real this time no magic love potion involved this time .
