I got to officially meet my partner’s family last Sunday :)

So, her 20th birthday was the 4th, but she had plans, so Ghost and I planned for the 6th.

My partner has heard me RAVE about a 50/50 bacon burger from my hometown.

Sadly, it was a Sunday and everything in my hometown revolves around the church (I love the pastor and his wife but PLEASE guys just one day can we leave the TWO other things in town open 😭😭😭) so we ended up going to a cafe in the next town over.

Afterwards my partner wanted to see my town’s graveyard; as most of it is my family’s surnames.

And also I was conceived there by my young and dumb parents, love u dad lmfao

My partners parents then invited us to her grandmother’s farm for a cookout, when I got to meet her stepdad (officially, and not through work) her cousin (I went to school with her but she’s younger than I am), her dog Moose, who is HUGE and also so far the only dog that likes me.

Her mom snuck up behind me and scared the CRAP out of me, but that’s ok bcs I love her anyways 😂😂😂

All in all it was pretty great :) def still need to take her to get a 50/50 burger tho, I feel bad the diner wasn’t open.

Me, not paying full attention to my drive thru: “Ok and a large coke no ice—

Partner: “come here often, darling?” [insert that classic asshole smirk here]

Me, jumping out of my skin: “what the FUCK— hello love?”
