doodle dumps, they're best friends to me đĽş
Imagine: Your Brother Nick screaming when you get killed by ZerstĂśrer
Y/N was fighting with her husband, brother, and best friends against ZerstĂśrer. âListen you Voldemort wannabe bitch! I have had a shit week, and in the wise words of JAY-Z: I got 99 problems...and right now you are number 1.âY/N said as she aimed her gun at his head. Right as she went to pull the trigger she was hit with a surge of energy causing her to crash into her truck. â...son of a bitch...that hurt...â she said as she laid there contemplating her life choices. She then looked up to see her step-daughter looking at her. âDonât hurt him.â Diana said as she started to choke Y/N. âDiana...Stop...please.â Y/N said while clawing at her throat. Diana let her go, but when Y/N got up she was staked in the stomach. âNO!!!â Nick shouted running to his sister âNo no no no...stay with me Y/N. Stay with me. Hey sis look at me ok? Youâre not gonna die.â Nick said to her âI am. Tell S-Se-Sean I love him so much. Tell Diana I forgive he-her. Tell Adalind, Rosalee, and Monroe they were the greatest best friends I could have asked for. Tell T I love her and that Iâm proud of her. Nick youâre the best big brother I could ask for...marry Addie ok?âY/N said as she took her final breath Nick dropped next to his sister and pulled her into his lap. To him it wasnât fair that his baby sister was dead. He looked at Sean as he walked up to them, he had tears in his eyes as he looked at his dead love. He bent down and pulled her body to him as Nick stood up.

Siegbarste (German: Victory Burst)

Aside from being notoriously hard to kill, Siegbarstes are also infamous for holding grudges to the grave and will not stop until either they're dead or the person who offended them is dead. Siegbarstes will use unspeakably brutal methods to kill their offenders. However, some Siegbarstes are just as capable of forming positive relationships with others.

THE GLĂDENDĂDYRET
(pronunciation ~ gloh-den-doh-dee-rah)
BESTIARY INFORMATION:
Translated from the Journal of Leif Rasmussen 1196-1225 by Ciri Rasmussen (Documented 1589)
I found myself on the coasts of the most northern parts of my homeland, following a rumor from a local tribe about a creature that was as beautiful as it was deadly. Over many a drink, the tribe had told me that these creatures love to dance and sing under the lights of the northern night, but feast on any that disturb them. They told the story of these creatures for two hundred years, but none ever sought them out. They said I would know when I saw it because its markings would glow like the north light. So, I had set off, keeping to what my mother had taught me about hunting creatures like these with the power she said the Gods had bestowed upon us.
The tribeâs story was correct. I found a large gathering of these gorgeous creatures dancing under the lights in the sky above along the coast. They danced in pairs, one male to one female, in a courting ritual. It seemed like each female chose a male who had beautiful plumage and coloration.
I wasnât careful keeping to the shadows and was confronted by a pair. They had likely wandered off from their gathering and likely saw me as a threat. I was forced to retreat. It took me two days to return to the local tribe whose stories led me to the creature, only to find the tribe slaughtered. Upon observing the remains, each tribesmanâs body was cold and gray, covered with deep black veins from where they had been fatally wounded. It had to be the creature that I had threatened. I then found it appropriate to name the creature the Glødendødyret.
Karina Reicher (1897)
Iâve only ever known the Glødendødyret from legend, and hoped to never meet one. Unfortunately, I didnât get my wish. The first Glødendødyret I met was a relatively large male, standing over six feet. He was light-skinned with light eyes and dark hair; relatively normal besides his height. I didnât realize what kind of Wesen he was until he had woged. Even from a distance, I knew immediately he was a Glødendødyret. Knowing the stories of them, I refused to approach.
Upon closer observation, I found that this particular male was bonded to a female I assumed was also Glødendødyret. They owned large farming lands in New Jersey. It wasnât more than two days later that my assumption was proved correct. Both the male and female were Glødendødyret. Both had protected their brood of three children, likely all Glødendødyret, from several thieves I had hired myself. After seeing how easily the Glødendødyret dispatched the thieves, I decided it would be in my best interest not to further engage these creatures.
SPECIES INFORMATION:
Documented Name: Glødendødyret
Rough Translation: Norwegian âglødende: glowingâ + âdød: deathâ + âdyret: beastâ
Other Names: German: Leuchtenfeder (âleuchten: light/radiating lightâ +Â âfeder: featherâ); Nahuatl: Quetzalcoatl (âquetzal: featheredâ +Â âcoatl: serpentâ)
Pronunciation: gloh-den-doh-dee-rah
Origin: Believed to be Nordic in origin, but it is not truly known where these creatures originated from; they are believed to be a much older and a much more ancient species of Wesen than most Grimm think. They were named by a Norwegian Grimm by the name of Leif Rasmussen who was the first to discover and document them along a northern Norway coast. Glødendødyret were often thought to also be mistaken for the Aztec God Quetzalcoatl.
Basic Description: Reptilian and avian-like Wesen with hard scales, spikes, and beautiful plumage. Their scales come in different arrays of colors to attract mates, and their markings glow with bioluminescence (similar to colors of the Aurora Borealis) depending on their moods. When provoked, they are extremely dangerous and have a toxin coating their claws that can kill a human within a matter of seconds once it enters the blood stream. Approach this Wesen with extreme caution.
Appearance: Both males and females sport the same hard scales, spikes, and plumage despite their slight anatomical differences. Colors and markings vary for each Glødendødyret; both genders are bright in color variation. Their plumage begins on the crown of their head and stops between their shoulders, and small feathers usually grow out from around their elbows. Scales cover their entire body and it is assumed small feathers also grow on their shoulder blades, near their hips, and even around their ankles. They possess talons that grow out to about two to three inches in length. They are normally semi-translucent, and are tipped with an oil-like (oil like in appearance and touch) toxin that the Glødendødyret excretes from its pores. Typical eye color ranges from shades of purple to turquoise, but other colors are not uncommon. Their skin is cragged and has formed into teeth-like jags, but those arenât their teeth. When a Glødendødyret opens its mouth, it has twenty-eight to thirty-two teeth (normally around the same amount as any human being), all sharp and filed into hooked fangs. Besides their markings, there are a few other areas where they glow including their eyes. Their eyes will glow against any darkness and even obscure photos when woged, and when they have their mouth open, the back of their mouth is lined with the same bioluminescence of their markings. Glødendødyret do not have a difference in their feather lengths between genders; the length of their feather crowns merely depends on how long their hair length is in their human form. Their feathers will flare up when they are angry, feeling threatened, or otherwise emotionally unstable.
Mating/Courting Habits: Glødendødyret normally grow up with their parents in a larger Glødendødyret tribe. Upon reaching their age of maturity, normally around twenty-one years of age in modern times, if a male Glødendødyret has found a female he desires to bond with he will attempt to court her. This consists of very simple non-violent displays, which includes showing off his colors and plumage, approaching and sticking close to her when she allows it, and even chasing off other males that may attempt to court the female. But the courting is all up to the female. It is her choice if the male can court her, and she can very easily dismiss him if he doesnât interest her. Bonding can normally begin very early in life and sprout into a courtship in their later years when they reach maturity. A courtship can take years to develop between a pair. When a male Glødendødyret wishes to make the courtship and bonding permanent, shall he be successful in gaining a femaleâs attention, he will present one of his feathers (from his crown upon his head) to her. If she accepts him, she will present one of her own feathers to him. They then hang each otherâs feathers around their necks to establish their bond to others. Children may or may not result from bonding; it merely depends on the pair.
Personality: These Wesen tend to be very wary of outsiders, and if they feel threatened they will engage what they find a threat, whether it be human, Wesen, or animal. They rely heavily on the toxin they excrete. Their toxin isnât dangerous to other Glødendødyret, but it is to everything else. Though dangerous when provoked and threatened, this Wesen is normally not a violent beast. Despite their name and usual violent reputation passed through the stories of Grimms, the Glødendødyret do not like taking the lives of others, but will do so if they feel there is no other way; there have been one or two cases in the past centuries where it is believed a tribe of Glødendødyret committed mass genocide to protect their own from outside threats. They are incredibly family oriented and will even raise another Glødendødyretâs child without it being of their bloodline. The males are warrior-like and have a sense of duty that rivals those of Nordic soldiers, but they report to a female that leads their tribe. Female Glødendødyret tend to have a more powerful toxin and are more protective when it comes to their mates and children. In modern times, most Glødendødyret seek out positions in police and/or military forces. Males tend to seek out positions where they can be put to good use, even occasionally seeking out positions in construction and building; females seek out higher positions, and tend to work at places where they can manage others, and this is not limited to police captain, a political senate run, etc. (though one will almost never find Glødendødyret in positions such as accounting, waiting [tables], and primary/secondary school education). Glødendødyret are an omnivorous species; their meats of choice include chickens, quail, turkeys, and ducks (they prefer to eat avian species). Most Glødendødyret grow most of their food, including their meat and vegetables/plants. Young Glødendødyret go through their first change when they are around five years of age (young Glødendødyret do not produce their toxin at such a young age; their body will start producing the toxin when they hit twenty-one years, their age of maturity as depicted as custom in their tribe).
Glowing Markings: Different colors tend to mean different things depending on the mood of the Glødendødyret. The glowing of a Glødendødyretâs markings are only visible when there isnât any light. Blue typically means happiness, joy, relief, etc. Violet typically means anger, wrath, threatened, etc. Green typically means unsure, calm, bored, etc.
Toxicity: The venom of the Glødendødyret is only dangerous once it enters the bloodstream. Glødendødyret excrete it from their skin when woged, and is incredibly similar to the toxins in Blue-Ringed Octopus venom. It is powerful enough to kill an adult human within minutes of exposure. Victims will first experience severe and total body paralysis before they die of respiratory failure and/or suffocation. A Glødendødyretâs venom is not dangerous to another Glødendødyret; the venom is dangerous to all others â humans, Wesen, and animals. A Glødendødyret, however, will only go into defensive/attack mode when it is threatened.
NOTES FROM THE ARTIST:
This is my entry to the NBC Grimm contest to create a custom Wesen. Upon beginning my work into developing the Glødendødyret, I wanted to craft a creature that wasnât mythical, but instead was inspired by mythical beings and real life animal species, just as Iâve seen many of the Wesen in the show centered around. So, in my stage of research and development, I searched and found a good number of different things thar helped inspire me as I started to craft the look, mythology, and information centering around the Glødendødyret. I looked to the Blue-Ringed Octopus, Plankton, Fireflies, Cassowary, Peacock, Turaco, Chameleon, Armadillo Girdled Lizard, Sailfin Water Lizard, the mythical Basilisk, the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl, and the Aurora Borealis. Iâve wanted to develop them as an ancient species who have survived throughout the centuries where their origin is mostly unknown to all (though they have inhabited Norway in around the thirteenth century where the Grimm Leif Rasmussen was able to document and name them).
Please note, the persons mentioned in this post (Leif Rasmussen, Ciri Rasmussen, and Karina Reicher) are fictitious, created for the background of this creature alone.
