Adam was inside his own place he was given when he arrived in heaven. His LED mask and robe on the table in the kitchen. He sipped on his drink he recently got. He made a weird face as he thought about Lute. This morning, Lute had kissed him then walked away. The whole situation was stuck in his head.

He picked up his phone and texted her. After a while, he checked it... no response or left on read. "Damn it," He grumbled then proceeded to toss his phone on the couch. As he walked around his home, he thought the whole time. His thoughts were broken by the sound of knocking on the door. "Huh?"

He said under his breath. Footsteps echoed in the long hall between his bedroom and the door. His hand reached for the handle and opened it to see... Lute! "Oh... hey," He slightly smiled. "What're you doing here?" Lute looked up at Adam's tall and chubby figure.

"I wanna just talk." She spoke in a strict tone, which was surprising to Adam somehow. He allowed her to walk in then shut the door behind her. Lute walked to the living room, sat on the brown couch, Adam following behind her. The silence filled the room for only a few moment before Adam spoke up.

"Why'd you kiss me?" His tone soft and calm despite being so confused. He never had any respect for women other than possibly Sera and Lute. Those two were exceptions. "I felt like it. Why? Not like it?" She asked.

"I-i mean i..I... did but it was just really surprising and fast." He spoke slowly as he thought about his words. Lute looked at him in his light grey Black Sabbath shirt and his black sweatpants. His beautiful golden yellow eyes looking into her own. "Could we possibly redo it but not as quick?" He asked.

Lute blushed and nodded. They slowly leaned closer until their lips met. Anywho, hours later they were cooking together. Adam being stupid and making jokes as Lute was fakely annoyed...

Elliot didn't look up at the woman, didn't move, didn't even seem to acknowledge her presence other than an answer. "I am thinking of Adam's human children. Cain, really. Is it bad that I feel a certain kinship with him?"

Hair in his eyes, down to his shoulders, brown as freshly tilled earth. As a freshly dug grave. How similar did the two look? One a child of God, the other the child of the first sin. Hundreds of thousands of years between them, and yet?

When Elliot accepted that he was treated more like an annoying younger sibling then an offspring by Adam, he would be lying if he said he didn't feel jealous. Was that sin? Feeling something out of your control, something that is not your fault, because of the actions of another?

Lute from Hazbin Hotel. Didn't put a ton of effort into this one but I think it turned out kinda cool all the same. I'm having way too much fun drawing all of the HH characters.

Angels are douche-bags but their designs in this are really cool.
