he pesters you and annoys you as a joke, but showers you with affection the moment he feels you get frustrated. it's always one kiss there (your cheek), another here (corner of your lip), and after a plethora of kisses across your face (and shoulder/collarbone if you're really pissed), he finally grants you a kiss on the lips.
something about the way he kisses you is so intoxicating. you're always chasing him—he's never chasing you. he leads you around a wonderland of sorts, where you have to continuously run after him so that you could find bliss. the way he cups your face or the way he holds onto the small of your back drives you crazy, and aventurine knows it.
despite teasing you so often, aventurine is gentle. his touches are always feather-light, like he's afraid to hurt you. you hold his hand and squeeze it a few times to reassure you that you're not going to be damaged so easily, and he returns your gesture by softly kissing that hand, and laying it on his chest (directly on his heart).
aventurine, who thinks actions matter more than words. he was never good at expressing his true feelings, so he puts his all in services and gifts. he takes you to your favorite bookstore, and lets you roam around picking up stacks upon stacks. he lets you ramble about your favorite series, such as whether one of them was a "flop" or not. he carries you to bed when you accidentally fall asleep on the couch.
your relationship is deeply rooted in the little things. sure, grand gestures are amazing—don't get aventurine wrong. but there is always something so simple and sweet about a quiet love that aventurine thinks people are missing out on.
he knows what you're thinking based on one look. when you turn to him when something happens, aventurine most likely knows what you're thinking. you give him one playful nudge on the shoulder, and he knows how you feel about that one person.
sometimes, sharing isn't caring. at least to aventurine. he knows that he can't keep you all to himself, but he attempts to. like when he tries to distract you from plans. or when he's pressing so many kisses on your cheek that you're afraid you're going to be late.
