Honestly this Fic made my day. Hiccup was so cute even though he felt a bit different from the movies, but hey it’s modern AU so it fits pretty well. Also you got me a little bit recovered from my recent reading that is called Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. At least I care about this characters here and it was exciting and it is always nice to see Hiccstrid Interacting. By the way the tension between them was wonderful and that comes from a Person who is not a big fan of either Romantsy or Romance as the main plot in general. But here it worked really well. Such a touching Story. I love how Hiccup cares for her deeply and you can clearly see that he loves her really much, just like in the Movies. He would do anything for her, so sweet!

Astrid walked into the doctors, coming to stand in the long queue. Fear was gripping every single nerve in her body, making her shiver even though the air was warm. She had no clue what to expect, none at all.
“Hello dear,” the receptionist said, peering up from the computer. “What are you here for?”
“I’m here to ah – I have a doctor's appointment, at 3pm. My name is Astrid Hofferson.”
Astrid tapped her fingers on the desk, waiting for the receptionist to look her up on the computer.
“Excellent. Have a seat Miss Hofferson, Dr. Zimmerman will be with you shortly.”
Astrid pulled away and walked over to the row of chairs that were mostly filled. She found one in the corner, where a young mother and two toddlers were sitting. Sitting down awkwardly, she smiled at the mother and pulled out her phone to scroll through social media while she waited. The two children were grizzling and throwing themselves around in their seat, obviously sick of waiting. The mother was desperately trying to settle them, offering snacks as a distraction when other people in the waiting room began to stare.

The emotional rollarcoaster Masterpiece of a Sequel. I still can remember the First day I finally saw it and it was amazing. I think I listened a whole year to the song where no one goes. And the fight scenes in this movie are the best in the entire franchise. Holy Shit, are these Sequences amazing! To add to the fact that the fight scenes are awesome, the Animation is just stunning. And the Emotion in this movie hit really hard. One of my favorite moments is when Valka and Hiccup meet again after twenty years and she says the word: A mother never forgets. Things that I would’ve never expected happened. I would’ve never expected that Stoick died and that Toothless was forced to kill him. Hiccups Reaction after Toothless was free from the mindcontrol was so heartbreaking. Also the scene when he forgives him let my eyes get wet again. The entire movie just has this intense Wow-Factor to it that makes this sequel just a banger and an unforgettable experience. Not to forget the incredible Soundtrack from John Powell with the Main Suite Lost & Found, that add to the experience. I am so excited when I can finally rewatch it for the hundredth time or so…
A Loveletter to the How to train your Dragon-Trilogy
I love this trilogy so much because it is a safe place for me, this world is a safe place, these characters are a safe place. I am eighteen years old and still doubting myself sometimes. Growing up is not easy and this trilogy shows us that perfectly. It thought us that letting go isn’t a weakness, it’s a strength. It thaught us to do things your own way, to discover yourself and your strengths. It thaught us that true friendship will never end. That true love can exist in our worlds, it doesn’t matter if it’s romantic love or love between friends. Love is Love. Since the first movie we witness how Hiccup finds his own way and comes into his own, to become a Chief, a friend, a soldier, a husband and a father. His whole story touches me so deeply because I see myself in him, this is also why I love the whole trilogy and the shows and short films equally. They tell his story. I believe there is a Hiccup in every one of us. This whole Franchise has just giving me a feeling of pure joy and it feels like Home for me. After seeing all these movies and shows after a so long (and seeing them a hundred times) it was like coming home, that a part of me will always feel joy when I think about httyd. I am dealing with Depression so for me it’s like a little saving grace when I see or hear something httyd releated. It became part of my life again and I am so grateful that it is. It’s for me at least one of the best stories in cinematic history that were ever told. I don’t care if there is now Sipder Verse, for me httyd will always have the status as a superior trilogy, that I love to revisit and think about. It isn’t just a trilogy of movies or a simple TV-Show to a movie, it’s a journey about growing up. I have a lot love for this trilogy because I basically grew up with it alongside the Trilogies Madagascar, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda. I have so much love for this franchise in general, I just really enjoy it for what it is: a magnificent story about a boy and his dragon, who became best friends and will forever friends even if millions of miles parted them. Hiccup and Toothless will always love each other even if they are separated for their own safety, they grow together and they will always remember one another and the beautiful memories they share. There will always be something that connects them. IT’S YOU AND ME, BUD. ALWAYS. This why I love all of The movies and shows (tolerate T9R now to some degree) and it’s sometimes hard for me to see, when people hate on this movies and shows. Especially on the hidden world. I know not everyone likes it but they have to understand it’s hard to see for someone who loves it. I heard from some people that the hate in the fandom kinda destroyed their existence with httyd. I personally don’t want that because httyd appeals to some many and means to so many others so much. It kinda makes me sad to see, because httyd gives me one of the best feelings of enjoyment and inspiration that I never felt before. I know I can’t change some minds, but I just want to say all this, because everyone deserves understanding and respect. I know I posted in the past some hatred stuff against T9R and I regret everything of it, because I can now understand and feel with these people.
Last but not least I hope this franchise will again bring some more people together and the same happiness I feel with it. In some kind of way we share all the same love. We love the httyd franchise. ❤️🔥

I love httyd3 and I am not ashamed to say it out loud! I like the message, the scenery, Hiccup and Toothless‘ growth on both sides, Hiccstrid, the relationship between the riders, the hidden world, how all was done with so much love and care, the depths behind many scenes, the epilogue, the song together from afar, the fact that the third movie expands everything in such a beautiful way, the emotional moments that hit really hard, the flashbacks with Stoick, the theme of love, the fact that everyone has something to do in this film,…
Idk care if other people say the movie is bad or mid, I like this movie because I love Hiccup and Toothless‘ Story. I love Httyd with all my heart and I will not let the negativity ruin my experience with it.
Httyd3 Fans scream it out loud that you love this movie, it doesn’t matter what the fandom says aslong as you like this movie. I hope this movie will get more love as time goes on like Shrek 4 for example and I hope more people will say what they love about it and that the fans of thw will finally rise. If T9R fans can do it, so why couldn’t we? It doesn’t matter if people don’t like this movie or this show, this doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad.

Hiccup looked up as Astrid approached him, he smiled and admired the swing of her beautiful hips, perfectly accentuated by her blue bottoms. From the corner of his eye, Hiccup saw that his cousin had also briefly looked up from his endless Tinder search and observed Astrid's elegant walk. He grinned evilly and turned to Hiccup. He watched as she tucked a long strand of blonde hair behind her ear, her eyes sparkling along with the sparkling ocean waters as she returned his hello. “I have a question for you,” she began. "Funny! I wanted to ask you something too.” They both smiled awkwardly at each other. “You say it first,” she demanded. “No, you ladies first,” he tried to convince her. Why was it suddenly so difficult, it was just a simple question. “No, please,” she said suddenly very shyly, which surprised him a bit because she had seemed very spirited and self-confident with her friends. So he gathered up all his courage and just spouted off with it. “I'm being honest, Astrid. I would like to go out with you…if you want of course.” Suddenly a smile appeared on her beautiful lips. “I'd love to. I wanted to ask you exactly the same thing.” His heart beat faster at that moment. He was excited and overwhelmed at the same time, it had been a very long time since he had felt the feeling of butterflies in his stomach. She suddenly nudged him in the arm with her elbow, although she seemed a little more relaxed again. "If you want to go on a date with me, do you want to go to the pool with me?" He smiled. "Very gladly. On the condition that I can invite you for a drink today.”
The greatest animated story ever told, I am so sorry every other animated franchise but my heart beats for the httyd-trilogy and its franchise.
Astrid Headcanon
The very first time Hiccstrid had sex with each other, Astrid was, even if she wouldn’t admit it very nervous and a bit unsure of herself, because she puts herself with her whole naked body in a vulnerable position. Can I just say that I absolutely love the overarching theme for HTTYD3 (or one of several). The idea that with love comes loss but love is still worth it. It’s not teaching this fairytale-ish notion that love heals all or love is the answer to everything and with love all of your problems are solved. There is, of course, a time and a place for those types of stories but this…This god damn so-called animated children’s film is teaching the notion that love and loss are a package deal. You cannot have one without the other; it’s unavoidable, it’s literally impossible and that sucks but that doesn’t make love any less worth it even for the short time that it might occur. That is such an important lesson to learn over the course of your life and the fact that it’s in a god damn kids movie is so amazing to me. It’s one of the most mature lessons I’ve ever seen in a children’s film.
That along with learning how to let go and knowing when to let go and learning that…you know what? Sometimes you really do have to let go of things/people you love…my god, I love this film.

Just noticed while I was watching the first episodes of season one Camp Cretaceous again, that Kenji reminds me a lot of Snotlout. They have actually a lot in common, both have daddy issues, are full of themselves and want to be the coolest person around. I think if Snotlout would life in the Jurassic World/Park Universe He would be Kenjis best friend and the other way around. Also I think Kenji would be really afraid of seeing Hookfang for the first time. He would think Hookfang would be another dinosaur hybrid. Also I think it would be fun to see these two climb and make a therapy session on the waterfall. In terms of dads, I am honest I like Spitelout more, even though he is an asshole, he is not as bad as Daniel Kon, who manipulated his son many times, try to kill his friends, tried to harm animals and is greedy for profit. You can say whatever you want about Spitelout but he is nicer than Daniel Kon.
