"People shut their eyes to a distant tragedy saying there’s nothing they could do, yet they didn’t stand up for one happening nearby either because they’re too terrified. Most people could feel but didn’t act. They said they sympathized, but easily forgot."

- Sohn Won-pyung, Almond [trans. by Lee Joosun]

these sort of connections human beings have the strenght to create have something so special. so private. all are generally so similar, but each has its own intimate details that makes it bloom, just like a tree full of cherry blossoms.

and so far i kept wondering, but now it's all so clear: one gets so affected when these little flowers fade within any occurence and the reason, the answer; it stays wholly in the human nature. we are so needy to have somebody to plainly share our life with & to be understood, thus we cling onto these intimate relations for dear life. so when things so precious, which only once belonged to self, exist no more for one to hold, the man is left shallow, mayhaps even hollow; for just like blossoms have to be cared of dearly – be it through waterdrops, soft words or stroking – the parts of one's soul remain planted back into what used to be, never coming back again.

Am I the only one who used unconventional songs as a coping mechanism when they were on the first steps of figuring out their identity, because..... *Dramatic deep breath.* human nature by michael jackson..... 😭😭😭😭😭 ..... I WAS FOURTEEN, OKAY?? I WAS FOURTEEN AND AROACE PLAYLISTS WERE SCARCE–

yeah, I get that. I’m constantly looking for ace playlists but I can never find any that are actually relatable.

Of all my aquaintances, there are two particular ones I love-hate. One is unwittingly holier than thou, the other is a gullible child. Through them a lot of the world, and thus a lot of me was exposed to myself. Hence the love, and the hate.

People speak sometimes about the "bestial" cruelty of man, but that is terribly unjust and offensive to beasts, no animal could ever be so cruel as a man, so artfully, so artistically cruel.

Fyodor Dostoevsky

can you believe that we have fanfiction. that we have websites dedicated to fanfiction. that there is a place that you can go and read tens, hundreds, thousands and thousands of pieces of writing that strangers have made. people who are not "writers". people who come home at the end of the day and have feelings and say, i am going to put that into words. i am going to share those words. short, long, sweet, sad, horny, funny, wonderful words. we are all just human and we all love to make and remake and share that with others. can you believe that.

Not to mention the

"If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry."

~ Terry Pratchett, Time Thief

It would be funny if nuclear waste warning messages become an attraction for future historical linguists.

I mean look at this thing:

Some believe that we were created in the imagine of some divine creator. Some believe that divinity is all around us. What if both contain truth?

We are not separate from nature. Our heart valves are so similar to a pig's that we can have them transplanted into our own bodies. The carbon that forms the basis of our biochemical structures came from celestial debris. Our bodies react in accordance with the rotation of the ear around the sun, light calibrating our circadian rhythm. Our ears turn vibrations into electricity, which is transmitted and interpreted in our brain as music, song, words, and the ambient hum of our surroundings.

Everything is connected.

For what purpose? I cannot say.
