This is an AU I always come back to and think about a lot, like just thinking about each tugs crew and how their relationships would all be different.
Ten Cents is characterized as a teen with a short fuse, I'd imagine every day is his crew trying to distract him, calm him down, or scold him for snapping his mouth at either a Zed or someone who happens to be on his bad side. I'd imagine all the pilots would have straight access to the tug's hearing to since they're all in their heads, the tugs would literally have no choice but to listen to whatever is happening inside their wheelhouses.
Big Mac I'd like to think has the same crew that he had in Scotland, so while all the other tugs have American crews Big Mac and his crew sometimes talk in Gaelic just to mess with them.
O.J's crew I'd like to think ironically are the youngest set of crew around the star dock since his old one probably all retired before the series starts, and we just have this ongoing side story of O.J commanding his own crew from time to time and telling them old sea stories.
Top Hat is pretty accurate I'd think to the drawing, he doesn't like people in his wheelhouse because he likes to raise it up and down at his own leisure, and when he has people in it they can get motion-sick pretty quickly or get jostled around like a salad. I'd like to think there's some sort of betting pool between other tug crews to see how long it takes for any new crew member to take before they heave their lunch inside Top Hat's wheelhouse, or one of those little flip book calender things that says above it- "days without someone throwing up", and its never gone longer than a month.
I'd think in order for anyone to be Warrior's crew Captain Star makes sure they have all their things in order when it comes to health insurance, because even if someone was manning Warrior steering wheel he'd still bump into things regularly. This causes Warrior's crew to not be outside on his deck very often because they don't want to risk it to much of someone going overboard.
Hercules I'd head cannon as someone being very picky about his crew because of his line of work traveling between ports. He doesn't like sailors or more accurately men who have one-night stands in one port and don't come back if the woman ends up pregnant. So he has the biggest turnover rate out of any of the tugs. If he even hears a rumor that one of his crew members might have gone out with a lady friend he'll outright ditch them in the port and not come back. So the only consistent crew members he has are either faithfully married, older sailors who don't care about those things anymore, or they're secretly a part of the lgbtq side of things who aren't interested in women or love in that way.
Sunshine probably has the most chill crew out of all of them, he's not picky as long as they work well together. I'd imagine things would have ended differently in his debut episode though since his crew would have probably either seen Zorran coming or would have convinced him not to leave the stars without any word or when they couldn't see when Sunshine wanted to go back up river.
And that's just the stars, I have a few on the Zeds but there not to flushed out.

So it's been a hot while... but happy news is that I'll be on break soon, so I thought I'd post all the art work stuff I've done so far from assessments. And since the Lunar and Earth show has come back I thought it'd be an appropriate time to post these now, I designed this character after listening to this episode of the Sun and Moon show- here
Meet Mama Cosmo! Sun, Moon, Eclipse, Blood Moon, Lunar and Earth's mother. I started even writing a fanfic for her origins so I won't spoil to much on her.
Also enjoy a comic page, I made this after Nexus was sent to space so it ties into the lore of her a little.

Well, meet their "Eclipse".
Originally named "Day", this girl is called Shade and she's designed after a dark star, or more commonly known as a black hole. I won't ramble to much on her since idk if I want to make another story based around her.
So this is 1 half of the work I've been doing, the rest is still being completed for other classes. I'm making a separate post right after this one so if you wanna see Sonic fandom stuff jump over to that one next.
I'll be back to drawing more stuff once the trimester is over, so for now I hope you enjoy these meals.
So here's the Sonic stuff I mentioned, I have been listening to a bunch of Sonic what ifs while doing my work and also looking over my very old ideas from my first Sonic faze 10+ years ago. One of my first ideas was what if the ARK was repurposed to genetically create rare or extinct species of mobian's back from the dead, so I reused that idea and turned it into something different.
These 4 are all mobian-alien hybrids, the first one made was Clotho, she was a second attempt to recreate a black arms hybrid. I had gotten the inspiration after seeing the Sonic and Shadow Generations trailer and now even more so after seeing the doom powers. Clotho can spin web and silk from her fingertips that she can lace with chaos energy, creating sharp cutting string or nets, whips, harpoons, and a lot more. She can also spin netting between her legs which can make her fly/glide along like a kite. Insectoid mobian's I headcanon as rare with arachnids being even more so, and since they already had black arms DNA lying around I like to think her creation was more of just a convenience. Unlike Shadow she wasn't made to be a weapon but they also didn't think her creation through since she ended up being a just as effective fighter as Shadow. With Clotho's creation going over less than ideal they decided to try with another species of alien, this time it being the wisp's. And as such Iris the Wisp was made. Iris is a type of deep-sea dumbo octopus, water Dwelling mobians were already rare but ones from the deep sea had brought a lot of attention to be studied towards. Iris had her DNA samples taken from all types of wisps, making her able to use all of their powers and even use them in combination with each other. Iris also wasn't intended to be a fighter but her upbringing alongside Clotho made it so they were more like partners in crime. Iris can fuse with other people to lend them her powers but she can only grant one at a time, and it makes her feel very sick afterwards so she doesn't like to do it often unless the situation is an emergency. Next was Ajax the Monkey and he was created with a presumed extinct species of alien called Seedrian's. And since Ajax was assigned male at creation he has small tree branches poking out from his hair, and after some minor testing, it was shown that the plant petals he takes his appearance after is called a gold chain tree. Ajax has Botanokinesis and a mover mode thanks to his alien half, and when mixing his monkey physiology he uses his powers to quickly traverse any small forest he might make. Ajax was more successful in that he isn't much of a fighter but will if he is forced to defend himself, but mostly he mainly uses his powers to grow gardens or farms to make food. Dark is a whole other can of worms. Technically he's not alien since he was from the planet's core and snake mobians are extremely rare. When Dark was first released from his pod and given consciousness he immediately attacked whoever was in his way, and instead of referring to the name the scientists had given he declared his own name in that being Dark Gaia. Much like Chip, Dark had turned into a smaller and weaker version of himself, very confused as to how this happened and what was even going on. The scientists unknown to them had taken a sample of Dark Gaia's consciousness, so instead of a snake mobian with Dark Gaia energy powers, they had inadvertently just given Dark Gaia a new body. Clotho, Iris, and Ajax were able to restrain him however and with the first batch of hybrids created with none too pleasing results they referred them all to G.U.N so they could be better kept an eye on. This is how they all end up meeting most of the Sonic heros, with varying results.
I'm gonna be developing more on Clotho for one of my class assessments, so expect like a full art table of her soon, the whole 9 yards!
Idk if this is a thing depending on country, but at least where I'm from if you don't have the pathway connecting to your store or at the very least a marked and signed pedestrian walking zone, it looks very stupid and like an eye sore since their so common. If there isn't anything there it looks like whoever owns the property is an idiot or whoever built the place should be called in for questioning. As a wise person once told me- "Common sense isn't so common."

Well, I'm a bit bummed, passed 2 out of my four classes this trimester. Which means I'll have to repeat them... JOY. At least next time I can prep like I did last time, and hopefully this trimester I'll be adhd medicated. I really can't wait for that, I'm sick of my distracted-ness screwing up my life plans. On the bright side, it's better than my first trimester. And now I'm winding down to do my own stuff, but now I'm going to use them as a distraction from my failures.

Just got back from watching the Transformers One movie, and I can't wait until it comes up on streaming services because I really wanna re-watch it! Spoilers under the cut-
If I had to change anything about it, I'd say add a little more to why D16 went rogue, like give us some of what he was thinking instead of him just voicing it. Maybe he was treated particularly badly compared to Orion when he wasn't there? That'd then make me want to root for him to kill Sentinal. The whole movie I saw him as like Orion until he got the transformation cog, that's when the change became a little obvious. I know he was just told his life was a lie right before he got the cog but I interpreted it as it was the cog that started to make him more aggressive. I can't remember which of the primes D got his original cog from, but I feel like depending on the prime they got the cog from should've affected their personalities. Anywho, great movie and I can see it getting an easy sequel. My favorite scene was when the new big tall Orion walked into the minor's quarters and now stood at twice their heights, and Jazz acknowledged it! I hope to see fan art of some of the minor bots using Orion as a climbing structure. Now for me to do the tumblr thing and fanfic out about this movie. This could easily have also been a shattered glass introduction, I can't wait to see someone do that. I also have my own little fun what if in mind, it's a stupid one but what if a much older Optimus like after the quintasons and after the Decepticon War happened, he gets sent back in time? Maybe he stops Sentinal himself and takes his younger self and D16 under his wing, making sure the both of them are okay and are on the right path. Just a stupid idea but I want some wholesome brotherly fluff between Orion and D16 that didn't fill my quota in the movie.

Fae formers Cliffjumper! After Jack had repeared the bot, all of his cuts dents and finishing wounds had been filled in with gold. The gold now acts as a syphon to Jack's magic to support Cliff's body, meaning he cant go very far from the wizard unless he wants to risk dying agian. It also means he's now Jack's new guardian instead of Arcee, but the trio make it work.
I was looking through my other blog and was scrolling when I came across this again, I forgot I drew Duke as a plush so cute! If I ever get the materials I might try to make an irl one. Idk, this pic is just so stinkin' cute.

Welp I'm back from break now, so expect less stuff for awhile. I'm still working on transformers fae atm, drawing all the human and fae forms the bots are gonna take for the next chapter. So once that's done it'll be onto actually writing the chapter, its gonna be pretty chill and a sort of new slice of life for the bots to adjust to the fae world.
So I have just gotten back from watching the tf1 movie again.
And I'm still not over D's betrayal.
To me it still came out of left field and still didn't look like it was influenced until he got the cog. Because until D got the cog, I still felt like he could've been talked down, like he could have been reasoned with if he had a heart to heart with Orion.
And it makes me think that D had been complementing Sentenel about his leadership before the betrayal was revealed. Like, he liked that he was complimented for his hard work, and that he was humble about it. (I can't remember the exact words.) I would've thought he'd take that to the Decepticons.
The only fanfic/tumblr gremlin thought I have running through my head is that if D16 saw what he became, he'd be even more repulsed at Megaton than Sentenel.
If you were to give Megatron amnesia like that one tfp episode, then I would think he'd want to keep a monster like Megaton locked away. He'd be so apologetic to Optimus and sad that their war that he'd be responsible for starting squashed the sassy idiot brother he once knew into a bot he'd be respectfully saluting with concern in his eyes.
Anywho, that's my rant. I wanna try and find a fanfic to read.
